Indian call centre scammers targeting foreigners around the world with the IRS and Microsoft Tech Support scams have reached an epidemic level. They're destroying India's reputation around the world with every single scam call. So, I'm taking you to a scam call centre in India to show you exactly how these call centres are scamming foreigners for hundreds of millions of dollars every year.
Even a small scam call centre like this one can make over $500,000 USD a year. Usually, they scam elderly computer-illiterate people out of between $400 - $1600. They do this by placing pop-up windows on websites which trick the person into phoning them to "get rid of a virus." It's all a scam and a lie and the person's computer has no virus at all. These scammers prey on our naivety and people who are less savvy with computers.

UPDATE 2: They've taken down their Facebook page and both websites. They've seen the video and they're cleaning their tracks. UPDATE 1: We want to get the Indian Police involved. But there are MANY obstacles for them. I'll talk about them in my next video. I hope the Police will start taking this seriously, but wait until you hear why they don't/won't/can't take action. It's not as easy as we all think, unfortunately! Hence this problem has grown out of control.

First reason: the victim is a foreigner overseas. The Indian Police do raid call centres targeting Indians. Their priority (understandably) is first to Indian citizens. Plus, the complainant is overseas... How can they produce them in court in India. Will the scammed person even want to spend their time working with the Indian Police? More reasons will be revealed next week and I'll give a solution.

Yeah. The corrupt Indian police are taking a cut from them. Even if they can't prosecute officially, there are lots of ways in a third world country to put pressure on a person suspected of mischief (especially given Indian police's poor human rights record) and make him stop. The whole system in India is corrupt.

During My Engineering college days I was looking for part time Job. so went to for an interview in an call Center they told me I have to provide online assistance for computer so I said yes. As I was doing computer engineering soon I understood what the call center tell me do. But I left in 15 days without single penny in terms of salary. A old lady aged 81 got convinced with my virus n all she was ready to pay but I told her not to entertain such kind of call. My concious didn't allow me to cheat innocent people. I Feel shame what my fellow country man is doing.

I'm considered an old person (72) but I'm also a computer geek. Two reasons why I've never been scammed though I get many scam messages: 1. I never would pay for technical support. I can fix my own problems. 2. I run Fedora Linux on my PCs. :-)

If you Lodge FIR against them police can arrest 8-10 people as they work in small groups...The Best way to get rid of this is ...take help of best hacker around you , who can destroy the scammers computer..2ndly ...Never give your bank account/credit card etc..detail to anyone even if he seems like right tech support / your own bank officeror govt officer... In India police keeps arresting very often ..however new scammers start.

And I didn't know it wasnt a fucking scam business! And God!! The guys calling used to get abused left and right and then you know, they just go about their day... They are literally shameless to the gaalis they get throughout the day...ugh God knows how they can earn something this way and still sleep peacefully😣☹️
