In this video, Sasha and I Spent 3 Days in New Orleans! We have always enjoyed traveling, and this is the first opportunity we have ever had to take a trip just the two of us. Neither of us had visited New Orleans before, but both had family share what a great time the city is, so we decided to check it out for ourselves!
Between the great food, roaring jazz, and variety of awesome places to go, we had a great time. We recorded the whole trip to share with you guys; it is our first-ever travel vlog, so let us know what you think! We would love to hear what you enjoyed seeing and which segments were your favorite so we can be sure to include similar sections in future travel vlogs! We are hoping to take a couple of trips like this every year, and if you guys enjoy this style of video, we'll be sure to make more when we go!

This whole trip looked so fun! I love the balance of b-roll and entertainment (jazz sections) and the short snippet of Ryan grooving at The Court Of Two Sisters (4:45). Fun moments like that show off your personality so well!

The video didn't mention exactly how you traveled from the airport to your hotel. I wanted to let both of you know that the best bargain in New Orleans (maybe the only bargain) is the 202 bus from the airport to downtown for only $1.25 each way per person. Just head upstairs at Louis Armstrong International and go to the back ramp and wait on the next 202 bus. The bus makes multiple stops in the downtown area and you can walk a short distance to almost all of the hotels and tourist attractions. In breaking with New Orleans tradition there isn't even a tip bucket on the bus. How sweet is that?

I was there last year! Stayed at a BnB right off of Bourbon Street so I could just stumble home every night. XD

Royal sonesta is a beautiful hotel on Bourbon and parking underground. Great place!

Oysters at acme are great, plus the muffalettas. I don't drink hurricanes, hangover is terrible!

Super fun first vlog .. clearly a great time was had. Were you there in the Fall and you didn't mention (unless I missed it which is possible) where you stayed. We're heading to NOLA for 4 days in March right before St. Patty's. Merry Christmas!!

Flattered you watched it twice! We went in what was late June, so it was warmer then; not sure what the weather is like in the fall, but I imagine March will be lovely! Happy Holidays, and best of luck on your trip!

sigh. Cafe du monde is the worst place to start. besides, Cafe Beignet is much better. Try a breakfast/brunch at Legends Park on Bourbon st. good food and live blues/jazz. Hand Grenades are freaking awesome!
