Travel Vlog #80 | Akureyri, Iceland 2021
We're continuing our journey along the Ring Road with a stop in Akureyri, Iceland to stay in a CAPSULE HOTEL! These are extremely popular budget hostels, especially in Asia, so we were excited when we found one in Iceland.
We wanted to show the full experience, so we decided to do a full capsule tour as well as all of the other facilities. An added bonus at this hostel specifically, is the people that run it, they are SO welcoming and kind! They have created many amenities for staying at the hostel, including a full kitchen and dining area, large bathrooms, and a nice sitting area.
Akureyri is also an important place to us, because it's where we tried our first Icelandic hotdog! (and yes, they're very different than what we have in the US). After walking around Akureyri, we got an amazing night's rest in our little capsule, which was beyond comfortable! (this is not sponsored at all)
