Always spin your back tires by hand back and forth when you jack your car up its a good practice to hear that locker sound get use to what feels like Landons problem was a common one that a lot of racers struggle with !

Dude....we have a brand new Pro Late Model this year...just finished getting it together...one of the last things we had to do was put the axles in...get them in...notice some oil on the floor....BRAND new rear end, not a lap on it...just pouring oil out of the aluminum casting. Fun times.

Good luck buddy. Hope you found it. A working rear will definitely help so you can work on other things. They a handful when rear end doesn’t work. Front end looks stiff like it’s bound up. But the rear end is keeping the chassis bound up so it might fix that too.

just gotta keep picking at it, and pushing forward. You guys will figure it out :)

New is the new old . I follow a couple of mechanics on KZfaq and they are always getting new parts that don't work. The one guy goes down the road to the junk yard and gets used parts that actually work . I hope you have it figured out.
