choc died 131 times and kai died 117 times choc and kai both died a total of 248 times and game overed 29 times. there boom i did it i kept score. And it was hard as hell. also kai won because he died less than choc so good job kai :) Edit: don’t expect this to blow up lol

You also have to add a penalty on Kai since The game is easier as Diddy (smaller hitbox + Jetpack)

This game was my childhood. I had a crappy Acer laptop that ran Minecraft and Hedgewars, and a Wii that had Wii Sports, Super Mario Bros, and this. This was my favorite game back then and still ranks real high up for me. I always played it when I got babysat when my parents went on dates or saw concerts and the Cliff stage carries so much nostalgia. My dad and I played together as well. So, so, so much fun.

I’ll be honest. Even thought the resolution and the multiplayer tank, the 3DS version is SO much easier to play if anyone wants to try this after so many years. Using a button instead of a shake is so much better for gameplay.

@@IllusiveDev theres more items in cranky's shop, like squawks, who can help you find puzzle pieces, an elixir for rocket barrel and minecart levels which coats your ride in a substance where one hit won't destroy it, including an extra heart container. and to top it off, they have exclusive cloud world levels, my favorite is the one where you make a robot

People think I'm crazy for this but I really didn't mind the shaking all too much. Same with Galaxy, even in 3D All-Stars, I still shake the controller instead of pressing a button.

Theory: dks bananas have the ability to create life. This is very obviously showcased in the feathered fiend fight, where they fill the empty vessels of the games enemies and fill them with mashed bananas to bring them to life. Though this is never mentioned again, this may explain why k rool and the snowmads want dks bananas.

I can't believe they thought buying life balloons to stand a chance against Thugly was better than buying the extra hearts. Having extra health makes a world of difference with the bosses.

I forgot how crazy and ridiculous this game is. I remember playing this game with my younger sister and we always grind a lot of lives to prevent not getting a game over just to collect all the letters in the game and even beat the secret levels too which is hard as balls. Even to this day this game is still very challenging but god damn this game is so good, same goes for it’s sequel too.

This game is hell to complete. Even the bosses are hard. Every boss takes 9 hits. It’s not that bad until the final few bosses. Also to unlock the 9th world you need all the orbs. How do you get the orbs? Either get EVERY SINGLE KONG SPELLED IN EVERY LEVEL IN A WORLD then a challenging stage. Or grind out banana coins to buy them in crankys shop.

This game was my actual childhood and i played it non stop. I bought the game a 2nd time a while ago(due to the disk of my 1st copy snapping in half) and I frankly had a much easier time playing it than Rob and Kai. I got maybe like 1 game over the whole run, and I got the Rare Orbs for Jungles and Ruins. I had to use Super Kong, though, but only for 1 level in the entire game, that being the third-to-last level in Volcano.

I remember when I was younger I had the idea of seeing what happens if you don't beat up the tiki guy. Then the arena turned back and the thing flew into the fourth wall. And for some reason that scared the mess out of me.

Fun fact: Did you know that all the members of the Tiki Tak Tribe aside from Tiki Tong have names?! World 1 - Kalimba World 2 - The Maraca Tripletts (Maraca Purple, Maraca Red & Maraca Green) World 3 - Gong-Oh World 4 - Banjo Bottom World 5 - Wacky Pipes World 6 - Xylobone World 7 - Cordion I just found that out and if anyone else knew about this, I would love to know how you learned this!

This is a wonderful game going back to the roots of Donkey Kong Country with a more modern play style and such and currently there is two levels i despise Bombs Away, and Muncher Marathon but either way its a good game over all and it is funny to see how many attempts of the levels you two did and also this comment sounds like I'm reviewing the game idk why

Why did Nintendo decide they all wanted their main characters to only be guided by food. Kirby: If he looses his cake he kills a god. DK: Take his bananas he kills a god or crocodile Mario: Take his peach he kills a turtle and a bunch of innocent animals.
