I will forever wait for his Nine Club episode. He has been my favorite skater since I saw this part, in this video, in 1999. I bought his Emerica shoes too, back in the day. Always will be my fav.

I was a freshman at El Toro when this video dropped in 98. I'll never forget watching this for the first time with my friends and being absolutely shocked and blown away seeing Heath ram through the front gate of our school with the van and then lipsliding the 20 stair rail.

That Jeremy Klein's BS Lip is so gnarly. So easy to stick or slip out on that trick and to time it off such a high drop. Such an awesome part, music, suits and kicker to whatever haha

@@Ragtags Jeremy Klein is one of my favorite skaters, I recently got 2 jk industries skateboards one being Klein's OG shaped world industries Candybar graphic reissued by Jk industries and autographed by Jeremy Klein and the other was the OG Hook-ups Dream girl graphic. Amazing quality skateboards and hand-screened graphics.

The video came out in 98, I was a junior in high school. I remember wearing a suit skating for a week because of this video. It will always be a top video in my book as well.

I thought the h-street skater that worked in the gas station was Ray Simmons, there was also a Southbank skater called Ben Jobe, but I loved Rogers little outtake.

Ever since back in the day, I've said that Greco's bs 360 down Bricktown 10 in Misled Youth was near Identical to Jeremy Klein's in The End. Soo beautiful.

Birdhouse The End...the first DVD skate video, that I ever bought. It was in 2000, not the 2002 special edition. I got it, late 2000, probably around Christmas time. A lot of the music, has been changed, in any modern release. Reynolds part doesn't have the DJ Shadow song anymore, Klein and Kirchart's is now "Don't come around here no more" by Tom Petty. It's like playing tricks with my memory haha.

In junior high, i watched that VHS so many times I ruined it from rewinding so many times, than mimicked the skateboarding in a suit for 2 Friday’s in a row in spring. Those where fun times:) Man was Free

Such an amazing film. I haven't rewatched this part but I'm thinking music is Rob zombie. I jumped off a pier once but never again. learned some newer piers are built right over old ones. things like rebar sticking out. Be careful

Birdhouse/The End (especially Kirkchart & Klein's part) + Thrill of It All/Zero + Welcome to Hell/Toy Machine + Tiltmode/Man Down + Enjoi/Bag of Suck = BEST skate vids of my youth! **I grew up in San Jose w/ the Tiltmode crew so I may be a little bit biased on that one. At the time Steve Berra had a part in Nash I believe it was. I always thought he made a hook up with some of the stunt guys and that’s how they were able to do the pyro shit

Every now & again, I Watch the DVD version of THE END with the audio commentary on because Jeremy got absolutely drunk & pretty much every other word he said from Berra's part onward had to be bleeped out! In Addition, Joey Poiriez [R.I.P.] was an AM for Birdhouse back then.

The DVD is worth buying for Jeremy Klein talking s**t on everyone from Steve Berra, to Jamie Mosberg the cameraman, the Vivid Video porno girls, all the way to the pyrotechnics professional they hired. No one was spared that night. Jeremy even said he had been waiting years to do the commentary and talk about everybody.

Yup. In my city, gas ranged from .89 to .98 a gallon. Me and my friend had Honda Civics, and would go to the SuperAmerica gas station (that had a Taco Bell Express in it) with $10; we could fill our tanks for $8, and with the remaining $2 get a 32 ounce fountain drink for .89 cents and a Taco Bell bean burrito for the same .89 cent price.
