You need to craft plant pots, use your shovel to dig up plants into the pots in your inventory then feed the planted pot to the Oasisaur. The bigger the plant the better!❤😊 Pay close attention to the banner at the top of the screen when digging a plant, if you were aiming for a tree and the banner says “Bush added to plant pot.” Then you dug up a bush instead of a tree.

You are wearing a lot of armor that makes you die to the heat faster. Cloth, desert cloth, and ghilli protect against the heat. Flak, chitin, fur, and hide make you hotter.

I dont know if you know, but you can pot the trees and place them around your base, i have a medium redwood from the island in the middle of my base on scorched and a mangrove and valley tree garden off the side. Only the really big trees dont work. They look great 😊

So there are extra large Trees in abundance at the red ob, those trees give 1000 food each. They're the large ones with 4 trunks. You're welcome ::)

Axe get a boat ton of flower pots and fill them with trees, shrubs and cactus. They eat plant life.

Fire and lightning wyverns are the best way to tame the Oasisaur

When you pick up the plants to feed the oasisaur, make sure that the message says "tree" and not "bush" was added to plant pot. If it says bush, you didn't get the right one. You can take the wrong plant out of the pot and try again, so that the oasisaur will get the maximum amount of food value. The random bushes will only give about 50 food value, as you noted when you gave the test plant to it, but when you give the food it likes, you get much more. (I am basing this information on what Syntac said in his video, as I have not played with the oasisaur myself.)

That food need reminds me of when I used to play Ark on mobile and any time you hatched a giga or griffin you had to plan to have, minimum, at least six to eight fridges full of meat ready to keep it alive until it could hold enough that you had time to leave and farm up more. (I actually like the griffin breeding mechanics they had on there. They all had randomly generated names and you could only breed if you had two that ended in the same two letters, it was like having little sub groups that were compatible with each other.)

I'm sure you've figured it out by now.. but those trees are nothing special. It's simply the size of the tree that determines the food, and that's not even the biggest. The yellow flower trees by my base give my Oasisaur 1000 food per. So just look for big trees and get them. If you accidentally get a bush, you can right click the pot and remove it instead of wasting a pot on 50 food. per trip.
