I haven’t even started the video yet but I’m assuming the top one is the real gun just because it has a sling but we’ll see

Always interesting to see the airsoft version compared to its real counterpart, even though it is a modern reproduction. Keep up the good work!

Yes the one thing I hate in airsoft is they mostly use a generic boring dark matte black paint.

Everybody misses one important detail -- a delta-shaped charging handle. Most of the Vietnam-era M-16s had one. The T-handles came later on.

Thanks for the side-by-side. I actually blew off the WE M-16 when I saw it for sale due to bad experiences with one of their other products. Now that I've decided I want one, they're unavailable. Oh well.....

I used a can of Rustoleum Automotive Primer Dark Grey for the finish.

Hey, great pair of guns you've got there. How'd you install the birdcage flash hider on the WE? Not a fan of the three-pronged one and I'm planning to get a WE M16A1 soon.

Simple, A very small grub screw (Alan key) then undo right hand tread, if it’s glued on be careful use a hair dryer otherwise you’ll snap it off treads an all!.

The only thing i can say about the brown is that m16's then had shiny furniture, but on the brown's it has a very matt look wich wouldnt be correct

@kevin pierson how about viper tech m16a1 ? it's so realistic can ever use real gun handguard and flash hider and weight are realistic.
