People always say this but fail to remember that military contracts for weapons and equipment have some pretty high standards for effectiveness and strength. So yes the "cheapest wins" but the cheapest still must meet the same quality standards. "military grade" in marketing is just bullshit and lies lmao.

In all fairness to the Fridge Locker, not a single soul will look at it and the food inside of it and think, "I'm gonna stand on it and crush both it and the food inside of it, rendering it pointless for me to do anything with it!" So I guess it's effective at what it does, as long as you don't have an absolute IDIOT in your house.

Except the commercial makes a selling point of it being able to support a person’s weight. No one would think to stand on it, except they made a point of telling the consumer they could. Just like how you would never run over a flashlight had they not told you it could withstand it.

@@LoganWH8 While the commercial did say that, it doesn't mean a customer would stand on a hard plastic cage. It's like when pan commercials show the durability of a pan by showing it getting ran over by a car. While the claim may not be true, the average customer ain't gonna test out the durability of the pan and would just use it for its main purpose.

Fun fact: i'm pretty sure you're supposed to put the drink spinner thing in like a tub of cold salt water with ice cubes or something, and apparently it makes it cooled.

It does work, shockingly well. You don't even need salt water, just ice water. I can imagine with just ice it doesn't work as well, if at all. You need the submersion. It even tells you on the box and the instructions you need the water. At least in the first video they followed the instructions for stuff. This one was way more chaotic.

If you just spin a can on it’s side on top of the ice in the cooler. It will cool the drink down in 20-30 seconds. I’ve been doing that since I was 16. You get to the bon fire with the beer and ice. You don’t want to wait 30 minutes for it to get cold. Spin it for 30 seconds and you are good to go. I’m guessing that drill spinner would have worked great. If they used a cooler instead of 8 cubes in a cake pan 🤦🏻‍♂️😂

@@katrinabryce I’ve been doing it for almost 30 years. Give it a whirl. You’ll be surprised. I don’t mean buy the drill one just by hand. set the can on the ice in the cooler. Can even push it in an inch or two. Then spin the drink on its side with both hands. Within one minute your drink will be cold. It’s really kinda cool.

@@katrinabryce... It does. It works much faster. There's entire scientific papers on why this principle works. It's like a high school science class experiment. It's not that it cools any better, but if you had 2 warm cans and dropped one in a bucket of ice and put one in a spinning device like this (without or without salt, although salt can quicken it) the spinning one would cool significantly faster. Obviously if you have the time, then throwing it in an ice bucket is easier. But if you're interested looked up the principles involved it's actually really interesting and it does work.

Fun fact: if you saw the things meant to chill drinks fast and actually want to cool down a drink fast, get a bowl large enough to fit the bottle/can in it and fill it with cold water, ice, and a bit of salt. Then, roll the bottle/can on it’s side in the bowl for 1-3 minutes and it will feel like you just got it out of the fridge. Works better with cans.

I hate the Clapper so much. Only people that have them are old people, and whenever I'm working on someone's house, they only use the Clapper for their lighting. I guess my drill bit produces a similar signal when drilling through the beveled wood siding, and so it just starts a rave. Also, love the ID Police because you can literally just buy a $30 shredder and not have to go through and stamp every document. Also who just throws their stuff in the trash without bagging it? Yeah, of course your documents will get stolen if you just nicely stack them in the dumpster with a note on it saying "Free stuff."

If you want to feel extra American, here is the formula I made that converts miles to Cheeseburgers. 1 Cheeseburger = 4 1/2 Inches 1 Mile > 5,280 Feet > 63,360 Inches 63,360 Divided by 4 1/2 (Cheeseburger) = 14,080 Cheeseburgers per Mile (CPM) Multiply 14,080 Cheeseburgers by how many miles you want to get the final distance in Cheeseburgers.
