Yes, Emily has good cleaning technique! It can help easily distracted or disorientated people to have a system of spraying and wiping. For instance, in one direction or from top left-hand corner onwards. It assists the focus of the mind and body and with repetition can make one even faster!

When you have ice like that use a blow dryer works great and fast.

The best way to remove ice from a fridge is to put a pot of boiling water in and close the door. You need to give it some time. Then it will be easier to remove.

In the future if there is an ice block in the fridge; boil a pot of water on the stove and place it in the fridge on top of a towel and close the door. It might take a couple of pots before it all melts but it does work

What a nice cleaning job for two, Coline and Emily. Thanks for helping this guy. Will you go back to this apartment and clean more rooms over there? What about the bathroom? I'm so glad to see rising numbers of subscribers, you deserve any support with all the help you're giving. Just looked up some statistics: In 2022 29,4% of the people in the Netherlands and 53,5% Germans have been renting an apartment. I didn't expected that big difference. Looking at my own family we are completely different than the average german family: 95% of us are renters, only 5% own an apartment or house. Enjoy what you do, DUI DUI! 👍❤️😄

It looked lovely when finished. Best way to remove ice is boiling water, let the steam rise while you tackle it. Anyway you got it done. My only complaint is that the video is too short!

I was going to say the same thing. Plus, if they hit the motor or the freon, it could be dangerous and ruin the fridge.

Hello from a fellow Midwesterner. I live in Indiana, USA. Great job team! I am very sorry to hear about your student debt. We have encouraged our children to avoid it if possible. Our oldest son worked and paid his tuition in advance each semester. It took him 10 years to complete his degree, but he has no debt.

So glad u didn't poke a hole in the freezer interior with those items, lol. Mini fridge freezer could have sat outside while you cleaned the rest then finish with the mini fridge freezer. But u got it done. Lovely job. Thanks for helping out, Emily.

The kitchen is lovely after it's cleaned. You and Emily did such a good job 🙂 I hope the man has treatment for his depression. It's very debilitating. I know what you mean about student debt. Our government here in Australia promised no interest on our loans, but the debt is indexed to inflation, so now I owe over $20,000. I'm sure it is even worse in the US. We used to have free education in Australia, but no more.

A bowl of boiling water or hairdryer might have been helpful. I used to have a freezer with a broken door and had to defrost often.

This is actually how i accidentally distroyed fridge. The utensil i used made a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiny whole and the freezing agent escaped slowly. I thought that i was carefull, but still made a tiny whole. Fridge was unsusable after that.

Wonderful video, I’m a big fan! A quick tip: When doing voice overs, try eating an apple or drinking apple juice first. It’s an old trick of voice actors to clarify your voice for microphones that pick up unwanted mouth noises. Or don’t! It’s still fun to listen to all you have to say 🙃

You two ladies did a great job and I was so interested in your voice-over, Coline! That kitchen looked beautiful at the end. I loved the floor, the big, sunny window, and the hutch dresser, the counter-top, and of course the sparkling cleanliness. Nice to meet Emily too! I remember once, long ago, trying to get the ice out of my flatmate's fridge. I was gouging away with a big knife and somehow I pierced the wall of the fridge inside and ruptured a gas line. Had to get her a new (second-hand) fridge, lol. Thank goodness for frost-free fridges now! Strange that that little freezer compartment at the top didn't have a door on it. I'm sure that made it ice up fast.

Hi ladies! Great job. Love your videos. Just wanted to let you know about the fridge. All refrigerators except small ones are now made "frost free". Many years ago, even lgr fridges would frost. The easiest way would be to unplug, keep the door open, place a bowl under the frosted area with a LG folded towel and let it melt. Even for a short time, it would be melting away from the top which would make it easier to chisel off. But it would take just a few hrs.

I use sink or bowl with boiling water and kitchen towel. I can handle hot water but I always use gloves. If the kitchen towel is fully wet you put that over ice. It help break the ice really quickly. Then just use ice breaker (little plastic shovel, usually comes with fridge,freezer) and loose the ice. You can solve this problem under few minutes. It depends on the ice build up.

For stuck up ice in the freezer just unplug it, boil a pan of water and place it inside the freezer. The steam will melt the ice in no time.

I am glad to hear this. Don't give them up. I have never listened to so little music than in today's culture. In the better days everybody could open a cd case and work a physical player. Now, music is locked up behind 'smart'phones, inaccessible to all but the phone holder. Very sad!

You might try when defrosting the fridge.. a container that will fit inside filled with boiling water.. turn the fridge off put the hot water inside and go do something else.... leave the door open..it will thaw.. hope it helps... oh by the way I always look forward to watching your cleaning videos..❤
