PLACES TO VISIT IN BUDVA
We stayed at Hotel #Montenegro in Budva, which is a #family hotel and located in Becici. We will share the video of this separately in detail. The most popular place to visit for #holiday in Budva is of course #oldtown. It is possible to feel yourself in the Middle Ages here. You can visit Sveti Ivan church and the museum next to it. You will get lost in the narrow streets. Afterwards, take the mogren beach walkway by directing your route to the exit and take a photo with a beautiful background view of the dancing girl statue.
ATTENTION! MARKETS ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
In the centre of Budva, near Kuzina restaurant, there is HDL supermarket. I think it is the biggest supermarket in Budva. Speaking of supermarkets, we would like to remind you that supermarkets are not open on public holidays and Sundays in Montenegro. Make your plan accordingly. Do your grocery shopping on Saturday. Only petrol offices and small shops will be open.
WHERE TO EAT IN BUDVA?
As a result of the research we did on many review sites, #MercurRestaurant was our first stop. The restaurant is located next to the bus station. Our Mercur restaurant experience was excellent. The taste is still on our palate. They have very abundant portions and delicious menus. We definitely recommend it. Our other recommendation is #Kuzina Restaurant. You can taste local delicacies in the restaurant located in Budva city centre. Prices are more affordable than the restaurants on the beach. We can say that the flavour was definitely better.
Tropico Restaurant was the place on the beach where we paid the most and were the most dissatisfied. The portions were small and the waiter wrote extra salad. As you can see in the video, the portions were small. Instead we recommend the #JadranKasto restaurant on the beach. Local dishes and flavours you can't get enough of will be waiting for you.
There are many cafes and bars in Budva. These are located on the beach and in the old town. If you are a coffee lover, you can visit Fiorino cafe in the old town. And find More Coffe in the city centre. Have a delicious coffee with halva here.
BUS STATION DISASTER
We wanted to go to Cetinje on the public holiday, but we had the same problem at the bus station as we had experienced in car rental before. Do not trust your ticket because they have a system where you can call Turkey. Even if you have bought your ticket, intercity buses are full and may not take you. We experienced this situation and when we cancelled the ticket due to this situation, they imposed a 1 Eur penalty on us. You also pay 1 Eur extra for each suitcase. Unfortunately, this is how tourists are welcomed here...
