About charging problem...I think nothing phones only supports pd charging. I used a 33w charger and a 20w pd, the pd charger is faster.

This is so true about the charging issue. I wouldn't exactly call it a problem, but I think the developers have capped the voltage to maintain the temperature at minimum levels. As a Phone (2) user who uses the official Nothing charger, I've never seen it charge above 20-25W. However, there are no issues since the phone charges in the time

Last week my friend and I was in a lodge for a night and shared a room. He owns nothing phone 1 and he charged his phone with my charger, samsung 25 w. Surprisingly it works better than his own charger. People who are buying new nothing phone can give a try with their friends' samsung 25w charger and bought that. And tech youtuber can do an experiment with this combination.

every good brand lets their phone charge at a lower wattage than claimed in the spec sheet to preserver battery health and since the claims made for the battery charging times are accurate, there is no need for the phone to charge at a higher wattage and degrade the battery life. My phone 1 charges in 1 hr from 0 to 100 and it still holds almost the same amount of charge despite being nearly 2 years old. Chinese brands let their phone charge at a higher wattage which degrades the battery life.

At one time we used to have 1 camera in phone then technology upgraded and we got evolution from 1 to 2 then 3 and then 4 camers in phone(budget range) every camera has different function and now from 4 to 3 we lost macro camera then 2 camera main and ultrawide and now in budget range we are loosing ultrawide also...... I don't completely agree, adding 2-3 thousand in the budget will not get a phone a lot better and adding accessories will bring the premium feel in the budget category and if it picks off, other 3rd party accessories will be available for cheaper. This new design is something different that I think was much needed, as there is nothing like this other than magsafe in apple.

About the charging issue in Nothing phones, I use Nothing Phone (2a) and I have noticed that when I plug the phone to the official CMF GaN charger it never goes beyond 15 watts but after 5-10 secs when I unplug the charger and plug it again it bumps up the wattage b/w 20-30 watts and all of this is when the temperature of the phone is around 35-40 degree celsius. So. I thought that what if I put the phone in freezer for sometime and then check the charging wattage and when I plugged the charger when phone's temp. was 4-5 degree celsius then it started to charge b/w 35-45 watts, it's full wattage. So, the reason your Nothing Phone isn't charging at full wattage is the temperature so phones restricts the wattage below 30 degree celsius to protect the battery from heat. There's nothing wrong with the phone or the charger.

CMF could have gone for a swapable battery. Phone companies often go with intergrated battery in the name of making it dust and water resistant. CMF with this design don't offer any dust and water resistance. They could have placed it as a repair friendly product. They really missed the opportunity here.

I really never notice the charging time. I like it when its slow cz i charge overnight. 25-30W is max i expect for emergency.

Underwhelming - they lost a huge opportunity by not giving removable battery, they sacrificed IP rating to give a gimmick but not the actual feature. - the software update is not up to the mark even Motorola gives better - the hardware is underwhelming compared to completion. They only have a integrated cover gimmick which they will remove or heavily change in Gen2. So good luck investigating in the ecosystem.

I have been using Nothing phone 2 since the day it was released and only recently I got to know that the "Nothing" does not work properly with the "PD" standard but works with a "PPS" standard which is commonly used by older Samsung galaxy lineup

Phone's really good for 15k... customisation is optional..its got good battery,decent camera,good chipset,oled display and great os...what more does one need.... nothing's quality is much better than poco anyway...its good for those who use phones for atleast 3 years

If there are any other then, those too. I am much concerned about the performance, cooling chambers, heating problems, how the cores work, how the clocking works. I know the nomenclature with the chipsets are mind boggling nowadays. So, I am not asking for that. Phew! Phew!! Phew!!!

i've used the nothing phone 2a and if dimensity 7200 pro is anything to go by, I'm optimistic about the dimensity 7300. CMF has done an amazing job, design wise.

Apart from the fact that it looks a bit different this phone is a total marketing gimmick. What is the use of the back being removable if we cannot remove the battery lol. And the audacity to not provide a charger in the box is arrogance at its peak by Carl Pie. Its time we consumers teach him a lesson for just pushing out gimmicky phones with over marketing.

0:18 - They never said anything about dual camera or anything, and it does it work by improving the photo Prateek you made the video without the Price info it's Around 15K ~ 17K if you include charger cost - in this price segment with DM 7300(4nm) is good for lite gaming and battery life, AMOLED Display same as CE4 lite (cost 20K) , Camera sensor same as Nord 4(~23K), it has okayish cut of spec for this segment and with that design, and you can't forget clean OS without any Data poaching and Ads. It's not a destroyer of this segment but an all-rounder phone.

If you are thinking of buying a CMF phone have a look at this CMF Phone 1 compromises: ❌No OIS ❌Mono speaker ❌6 GB RAM in base variant ❌No 256 GB storage option ❌No ultrawide ❌No charger in the box At this point, screw the rotating dial, the replaceable back panels and the design with the four screws. Just give us a generic design but different colors, don't spend so much on unnecessary design R&D and use the saved money on better specifications keeping NothingOS as the selling point. That'll give a better phone.
