We tried using Ludicolo in NU. Was it a mistake? ft.

Ludicolo has always been on these lower tier rain teams ever since about Generation 6. Today, Shengineer and I realize our truest desires and bring this Pokemon BACK into the spotlight. No sun? No problem; we'll still make weather teams look OP :] Enjoy!

I am pretty sure the July usage stats are the next tier shift. Given that a lot of NU staples are projected to rise out of the tier, we may have a completely new tier in a couple of days.

Wonder how banded floatzel would do in NU, it's an absolute demon in PU that i know for sure. Wave crash pretty much anything and the few mons you don't you can just flip turn on and kill them the next time.

I feel like Floatzel would be a fair bit more manageable, mainly because of the priority spam from Lucario and Lycanroc, as well as Talonflame Flame Bodying it. I do love Floatzel as a baby Barraskewda though.

Have you tried manual quadruple weather, i heard only the elite of the elite uses that team base.

I think Ludi is good but I’m usually using it alongside Kingdra. Kingdra is a bit scarier but grass coverage is valuable is the moral of the story here

I think the biggest problem with Ludicolo is that it has no real way to boost is Special Attack. Base 90 could work in NU if it had some sort of boosting move, but the fact that it can't boost means that Ludicolo is hitting softer than you'd want. Maybe Specs should be the way to go for it?
