@@Dingsrud Correcting myself here! This system can lift water over a 10 meter high wall, but you can not get access to any of that water up there. 100% of the water must down inside the tubes to an exit that is lower than the source. So a komplete siphon like this can not lift any water.

@@Dingsrud Why is that!? Doesn't the water in the well just need to be deeper than the bottom of the pipe in the well? Obviously if it sucks the water below that point...it's going to lose the vacuum and won't pump.

@@tclodfelter8789 This is a siphon system. The water level of the source, here the well, must be elevated higher than the exit. This is not the case here, so this siphon can not work.

Esto es imposible porque a mayor presión del agua hay que aumentar la potencia, que es cantidad de trabajo por unidad de tiempo. El trabajo es energía y no se va a crear energía de la nada. Éste es solo un proceso que dura a más tardar unos 20 segundos.

I would think that it would be possible with depths at 400'. though you would need more air volume to achieve that. If it also went downhill for 200' after leaving the well the water would help pull it out like a siphon, neat video, always food for thought. You could I think hook up an air compressor to it and it would keep the pressure stable giving you stable water pressure and not needing 220 to run a pump, just a quick thought anyways.

Dude, this system allow you to pull the water from the well without using an electric pump, just some elbow grease at the beginning. Sure, it won't make the water to go uphill, but that's not its purpose anyway. For this you'll need a hydraulic ram: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydraulic_ram

This alone makes it clear that this is a fake. In contrast, a hydraulic ram works of course and is in compliance with laws of physics. Hydraulic rams are installed in many places. @@sciencefreak9070 Dude, it pulls up water from the well thanks to the sudden release of the pressure when you open the tap. That's the very reason this guy had pumped air into the pipe. Once it's primed it doesn't need additional energy, it works thanks to the siphon principle, but it works as long as the exit point of the water is lower than the well water. If the point of exit of the water is above the level of the well it won't work or it will work but for a very short time, so obviously in this video the level of water of that well is higher than the point of exit of the water, if not, once the priming effect is gone the flow of water will stop. @@LeChristEstRoi Thanks for your comment, I am familiar with the siphon effect of course. I have seen several YT-videos presenting this "pump working without electricity" in different variations. And all of them claim that water can be pumped up with it from a level of the water definitely _lower_ than the outlet. Some show for instance that water is pumped up from a river some feet lower then the surrounding ground. My comment was aimed at such claims, since pumping water up is indeed not possible without energy. With siphoning no energy is needed since more water flows down then up. In this video the guy insinuates that the water level in the well is considerably below ground since he inserts a very long pipe in the well (min 2:50 onwards). And I doubt that the water level in the well is above ground and allows siphoning. However, in min 3:30 there is a moment when he scoops water out of the well with a plastic bucket without any problem, with no string attached to the bucket to let it down, but you don't see this action from the start, the bucket may have been already full when he lowered it in the well. Water level in a well higher than the ground is a rare condition which can only be reached by deliberately filling the well up with water! The surrounding grounds are fairly level, and thus the outlet should be clearly higher than the water in the well, which is normally the level of ground water. The construction with this bow of pipes where air is pumped in makes no sense at all and was obviously only made to confuse people. What is needed for siphoning is a pipe, which is completely filled with water from the outlet end to the surface of the well above the outlet. Then water will flow by itself, no artificial air pressure is needed to start siphoning.
