I'm the eldest from 6 children and I love my big family too. BUT, it has a lot of challenges. And throughout my growing up, I hated many things. I actually didn't want to have kids at all at certain point in my life. I don't particularly enjoy the fact that my youngest sister is almost 19 years younger than me. It has it's benefits, my eldest can play with her aunt, which is great:) But I don't want that for my kids. Also, me and other two after me moved from home really young. I just really wanted to get out and have my own calm, quiet space where I can actually find my stuff where I put it earlier that day.. It turned out well for me, but not so much for my siblings..

tissuepaperbutterfly Do it if you can! I’ve had 5 of my 6 at home. They were waterbirths which I highly recommend. It’s like a natural epidural. They were the most beautiful experiences & I was supported & surrounded by the people I love most. ❤️

Oh How wonderful! Km a mother of 8 and grandmother of 23 and I love it! I'm sadly now a widow but my children and grandchildren keep me happy and fulfilled. Your children are very blessed to have you as their mom. Congratulations!

Congratulations! The more, the better! We have 8. We chose not to find out the gender of any of our kids, but, alas, I got very good at reading ultrasounds so I knew our last was a boy. I didn't tell anyone! We had every other one until the last two - boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, boy. Having a super large family was the best thing I ever did. They are wonderful people. I had naysayers from baby #3.....look how well I listened!! Ha!

Congratulations! I would love to see a video about what you do to prepare mentally and physically for a natural birth. I am 25 weeks pregnant with my first and have been preparing with the Bradley Method per your recommendation. I'm interested to know if you do any of the labor practice exercises (relaxing the body, visualizing the baby moving down the birth canal, etc.) and how often. Also wondering how much your husband is involved as a "coach." Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy

@@MR-dl4fv Lol! Well my husband always joked that all he had to do was look at me and I would get pregnant. But honestly my husband and I will be older parents at this point. My husband is 51 and I will be 40 when this baby, prayerfully, will be born. I say prayerfully, because our last 2 pregnancies have ended in miscarriages. Technically this is our 9th pregnancy and hopefully our 7th child. We didn't want to end our last years with miscarriages. We also have older children, our oldest is 18. God has been good and has definitely softened my husband's heart over the years. The journey has been more difficult for him as he was an only child and started his family later in life( he was 33 with our first). Alot of growing and dying to oneself happend for him. As for your husband, pray. That is what I did and God answered. Sorry for the long post, but thanks for reading!

My most expensive baby was the one where I used insurance in a birth center. My 6 babies ranged from $2500 to $6000 with midwives. This included ALL prenatal & 6 weeks post-partum care, baby care for 6 weeks, & ALL labor charges. Regardless of how many appointments you need, or even when I needed extra IV’s for dehydration, I’ve never been charged extra beyond their set fee with any of my midwives. This is also significantly cheaper than most hospital births, but most insurances won’t pay for any of it. Mine would pay for labs only. Some Christian Health ministries MAY cover many charges that traditional health insurance won’t cover, but you’d have to call them & check.

Look into Christian Healthcare Ministries! It may not be for everyone, but it is a huge blessing for our growing family (expecting our fifth child next month). I am planning a home birth with a midwife, have had an ultrasound and lab work done, and CHM has reimbursed us for everything.

So happy for y'all!! I'm second of 9, momma to 6, 2 girls and then 4 boys, and we homeschooled for a long time. My #6, also an October baby, is 7-1/2 years younger than #5, my oldest was 16 when he came along, so I was a grandmother when my baby was 5, and it made the transition so easy. Family is such a huge blessing! When you first moved in and had TONS of content I was feeling a little overwhelmed, and worried you were driving yourself too hard - I'm really happy with your 2 videos/week schedule. 😃

Yayyy!! Congratulations!!!😀 I know what you mean about feeling apologetic when telling people, even our own family! I’m also pregnant with baby #6 and due October 25! This is our second one we decided not to find out, labor is more exciting that way 😀 and you’re right! It drives people crazy! We have five girls! Everyone is dying to know the gender of this baby. But no matter what the gender is, it’s all in God’s hands and He decides, we’re just excited for another precious blessing He has given us! 😀

Congrats! I'm having my 6th baby in about 3 weeks, so you're not alone! I'm 40 and wasn't expecting to have more, so God surprised us. My oldest is a 13 year-old girl, and the rest are boys, including this one. We also homeschool, but we don't live in a farmhouse; just a little house in a small town near the Texas coast. Congratulations to you and your loving family. I guessed it on your last video, that was the reason I wrote to take care of yourself. I'm the sixth child of seven. I enjoy everything you do, but, I would love to see home made swings from trees, girls play house or boys forts, cleaning vlogs of the two little house, no talking just cleaning. Congratulations! We are due with #4 in September! My second homebirth and the first time I've been able to convince hubby to wait on gender. Super exciting.
