I have been fitted with these today. I had hit, ping, Mizuno, Wilson, smoke ai, tailor and these cobra's and these won hands down. Most consistent spread and very nice distance and plenty of height. Some stats: Club head: 95 - 97 mph Carry: 165 - 175 meters ( not yards) Ball spin: 5000 to 5300 I loved the sound, feel and looks and price. So I ordered them them. When I walked in to the fitting I had not even considered them, I was fully expecting to walk out with some smoke ai or the jpx923's. When you do a fitting, take these in consideration.

That's just crazy.. But then again, for the intended target audience, it'll be perfect for them! I don't think anyone at Cobra is expecting the average user to hit 220yd 7i shots. lol. Probably not even 170yd shots with them.

Biggest thing missing for Cobra now is Bryson. Continuing to make incredible golf clubs. They need a new talisman.

The radspeed OL were the same loft profiles though. I guess the improvements are within the head? Considering to upgrade from my radspeed OL..

I think you try the Ping I530 in the power loft for best distance 😮 I had to ring ping and ask questions when it turned up in my bay. 😮😮😮😮

@@alexetchesgolf just got fitted today. Cobra Tec won over Mizuno 245. 7200 rpm, 175 yards, 50 degree descent, 22 degree launch, 38.5 yard height.

😂😅 ... yezzz 27° loft but with the length of ... a ... 7 iron (91.26 cm) ... one could say ... single length clubs do work. My 7 iron has 35° of loft ... and is my 130 meter club. Awesome showcase. 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻

Super easy to hit, hit the 7 iron about 170 yd carry. That's with a kbs $ taper x stiff in it

I would love to see you play with "Bryson" iron distances. You won't be able to get the woods distances, but these irons could get you to the iron disances.

It has actually more in common with an actual 7 iron. Loft is around a five. Weight, length, CG and progressive offset is all a 7. So not really true

I feel the loft of the club is irrelevant, it's launch that matters. If they can make a 26 degree 7 iron that launches at the same angle as a 33 degree bladed 7 iron then that's fine. But if it launches lower, that's when it becomes marketing bs for me. Because if it launches like a 5 iron then it's a 5 iron, not a 7. These look like they are just about getting away with it.

Absolutely! Loft is important but like you say, CG controls flight - you can be too strong still though
