Seeing your comfrey laid on the ground like that made me recall that l used it like that to keep neighbor cats from using my garden beds as a cat box....

The comfrey we got from you all a couple month ago, is going gang busters!!! So excited!!! We're getting ready to move back to a rural area after relocating to a new state and living in the city for almost 2 years. Now that we have learned the area planning to move rural and let the permaculture explode on our new property!! You guys are an absolute GEM. Thanks for everything! Keep up the great content and ways of doing things guys!! Thankful to God Almighty for you all. God Bless❤

My 10 acres (reclaimed grain fields) has just a few trees. I've got the fields back from dead soil. Next steps have been shrubs & trees started in air prune boxes (Twisted Tree Farm & Edible Acres channels).😊

I got the comfrey cutting and they have taken off. To be honest, I put them in a raised bed because I really did not think they would grow. Easiest thing ever. I really wish I found your channel years ago.

For our raised beds, I break up the ground where the bed will be. This means hitting it with a pick because our ground is stupid hard. Then I take the topsoil from the path area and put it in my bed. This is how I start all of mine for free. Some manure/compost/biochar and the bed is ready to go. But of course it gets better the next year. It’s just ok the first year. But it’s free and that’s how I gotta roll 😂

I'm growing everything in containers right now as we transition from a 1/2 acre in the city to 2 & a half acres in the Big Thicket of SouthEast Texas. I'm curious as to why William torched the wood on the raised beds.

Congratulations, I see you have reach 100,000 subscribers. Well done. You have a very valuable site. You have had a big influence on me with keeping my soil busy/covered. I didn't realize I was partially doing permaculture for years. I have many stands of comfrey in a small yard and use it for chop and drop, and comfrey/weed teas for fertilizer.

Billy, any chance you can show what the comfrey looks like after you plant the root cuttings? I got some from you and finally planted them about a month ago (after being refrigerated since you mailed them to me in March). A lot of weeds have popped up but I don't know what the comfrey looks like and I'm afraid to pull anything out. I put markers at every root but I'm not seeing anything there. Could they be sending up shoots a foot away from where the root was planted? There are some weird looking "weeds" that far away from the original root spot. Please show a close up of a baby comfrey coming up in a video soon. I need to be educated, lol!

This could not have come at a better time thank you so much for this great video and idea I literally have almost 50 comfrey crowns that were trying to figure out where to put because we also have other things we're trying to plant and there's just not enough hours in the day. Have a blessed day

I took a plastic barrel and filled it about 60 percent with comfrey and clover and covered it with water about 10-12 inches above the material and after 2 weeks that’s some of the best natural fertilize known to man and then I can dry the material and use it in my compost piles

The comfrey I got from you all is really starting to hit its stride. My question is should I let it grow for a full season to accumulate root mass before starting to harvest leaves or is there a specific length of time I should wait before harvesting. Thanks again for all the great content and high quality products, God bless 🌱😁🤙🏾🙏

Great idea having dedicated beds. Hey, I have bocking 14 all over here. Can you tell me why I need bocking 4? From what I gather, bocking 4 is better fodder for livestock. I don't have livestock yet but will have chickens someday. I may need to get some of your #4.
