Lol, what a stupid take. Kevin after World Cup is obviously not 100% there. Kevin sometimes over complicated things OR tries to make the final pass to early. Pep was saying that KDB just needs to keep things simple before trying to do too much. This makes perfect sense because as players, rushing things more often than not creates mistakes. KDB has been guilty of this recently and if you look at Gundo, for example, he does the simple things of keeping the ball, short passing, and finally trying to find the final pass. It’s not like KDB hasn’t been told about this by Pep…Pep just answered the question because he knows KDB can take it and doesn’t give a fook about what the media makes things out to be. I swear, people so sensitive these days….

It s not about fifa. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are in PSG. How did it go?. The "galacticos era" won just one UCL. So. that s why Pep is right about this. Is strange to say that they have to win or they are the favourites, even now that their football is less exciting than seasons before even with Halland.

Also History matter in this kind of competition. People from London, makarrech, buenos aires, madrid HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT. At the moment the level of City if lower than the past 3 years and never won a UCL. So Pep is right

MAn City should have won the last 3 CL titles easily. They have been the best team in Europe over the last 3 seasons and even this season if City play at their peak no team in Europe can match them. However, cup games require personalities and huge winning mentality. City need a leader like Kompany in the team now. That is their only limitation.

Only five teams in history have won it more than 5 total times. SAF won it twice in 45 years of management. Unless you coach Real Madrid, you are not guaranteed anything in the UCL. Do you forget that it took Barcelona, indisputably in the five biggest clubs in the world, until 1992 to win their first? City was in the second division only 20 years ago. They have played only 12 campaigns in UCL. Again, English-fans’ consensus greatest manager ever SAF won UCL only two times in 26 years at United. Pep is right. What other team is always favorites in a competition they’ve never won? It’s a classic case of building them up to knock them down. If in ten more years they’ve still failed to win it, then you can have serious questions. Only one team averages more than one UCL per decade… and that’s Real Madrid, probably the biggest club in world football.
