@@toddpatrick8254 Movies have more than one producer. John literally was an executive producer. As well as working on the updated score with his son Cody. Check the credits. He’s also gone on record to say 2018 is the best since the original. He definitely gave input to DGG about how he felt about the story & he liked it. Especially seeing as how he’s worked on Kills and Ends as well.

@@narutosraman I say the distinction isn’t as clear. One guy talking out a cast of folks. It’s got a supernatural element but so does Jason (F13) so I’m not sure it makes it different enough to discount it from the slasher genre.

@@itzbp9949 The bathroom scene is straight out of H2O. The long take scene is the opening to Halloween II. It goes on and on with both of the latest movies. And I"m sure the third one will be the same way.
