I have a really strong stomach for body horror and even parts of this movie were getting to me lol. I think because it's not your typical gory kind of movie, it makes it even more disturbing how casual he is about it. It's also very effective with the sounds during the dinner scene. Overall I liked the mix of horror and dark comedy as well as the music. 💕

When it comes to dating this movie is almost too realistic lmao 💀 so many guys are jerks ( to say the least) especially if you deny their advances. Personally I’ve been assaulted on a first date so it is scary to try and date cuz you really never know peoples intentions. Always gotta have mace , a box cutter, & your location sent to your bestie before meeting up with a date nowadays.. love the reaction tho!!

And for those reasons, good guys are gone. It's too risky. The chace she thinks you're a creep and hurts you is astonishingly too high, and best case you end up with a cheater chick that leaves you, so there's no point. IF she puts in a ton of effort, maybe. TONS of creepy insane chicks too.

Conversely, I have 6 sisters that I never saw deal with any of that, other than some divorce, but they're all in decades+ marriages now, and they'd look at what you're saying like you're crazy, it's not their experience. They're better at choosing.

i initially thought paul was gonna be the one to save them but i liked it much better that they saved themselves. and i'm not even angry that paul drove away because that's the smart thing to do irl when you hear screaming and gunshots and you came alone with nothing. i'd have driven off too, put some distance between me and that madness first, then i'll call the police. i think the wife represents the toxic percepetion of a woman that was idealized by misogyny--she was probably a fighter once but she was turned submissive and complicit by punishing her with violence; she seemed to be made out to be vain and materialistic who married a plastic surgeon cannibal supplier to maintain her looks and sustain a lush income; she gets angry and violent at the girls (who never had a clue the guy was married) instead of the prick who was the one making fools of them all. she may have been a victim too but her character getting killed is still so satisfying because of what she represented.

Lmao. She wasn’t trying to take her face off she was pulling her skin back to appear younger. It’s something that people do when they feel like they’re aging. Especially married women when they feel like their husband isn’t attracted to them anymore. Basically she feels insecure about her looks…… I think. Lol

I took it as she's the woman who wrote encouragment in the magazine. Steve took her out, married her and gave her a new face so no one would know who she was.. Maybe she was trying to see her "old face" or was looking for scars? Tons of reasons she could have been pulling her face.

@@pamelawilliams3144 uh no. Sami is the woman who wrote the message-and she's dead bc she's on the wall. If you notice he took from each of them what men often objectify women for most - legs, ass & tits. This was a great reaction. I can't tell you how many times I've had guys be nice to me until I won't go home with them. Then I'm suddenly an "ugly bitch anyway." I would never harm anyone but this movie was so satisfying to watch. I totally said "bite his dick off" when I first watched it and was pleasantly surprised when she did. Also it was AMAZING to see Paul be like "fuck this" & just leave. Women saving themselves. Too real.

You won't believe the amount of women who've beat me down and belittled me and stopped being nice because I wouldn't do what they wanted, as men are supposed to do. This starts immediately after birth and never stops. The gossiping and doxing and stalking parts of this are enough to confirm how toxic women are now, it's ICK.

honestly, to me personally, this movie was such an analogy for my dating life lol conned into believing they like you for you, are serious about you, then you place your trust in them and wake up trapped, being slowly consumed by someone who insists they actually, really like you while calmly doing diabolical things to you and you’re forced to become a final girl survivor in your own relationship lol anyways, reaction was sick lmao

F-ed up part is that's ACTUAL love, he loved her SOLELY for HER. She didn't have to do anything, she didn't have to prove herself. LIKE WOMEN GET TO DO, she just showed up and was perfect. No matter what she did he wanted her, for her. Not for what she could do. I dream of being wanted just for me. Not for what I have or what I can do, but for just ME. And being slowly consumed is how love has been described since Shakespeare. Romeo and Juiet's love consumed them both to the point of death.

I thought the writers could've gone one step further with Noa and Mollie trying to save Melissa too, but when they got to her room, she would just be a head and torso. Maybe missing eyes too. But that might've been too much for people 😅 This film did a great job with being horror with little gore. Some writers will use extra gore to make up for lack of plot. The camera shots of mouths, the audio choices (of eating mostly), choosing to have the movie title show up 40ish minutes in the determine a turn in the story were all so good. Thanks for reacting to it.

I have this theory that if it was the wife that sent that little note in the magazine, the reason she might be missing the part of her leg is because Steve caught it and punished her for it. I’ve watched this movie plenty of times and it didn’t click until now that either she got caught early on in their relationship when Steve was doing this kind of work or it just happened when she found out Noa was his next victim. She doesn’t look happy with her life, I feel like that moment in the mirror was her really battling with herself as to why she settled and got as far as marriage and kids with this sicko. You can tell her involvement wasn’t consensual in the beginning and she didn’t want to die, but that attempt to help the other women could’ve costed her life so she just sits back and shuts up further making her more complicit.
@pamelawilliams3144
@pamelawilliams3144 2 жыл бұрын
That's my theory as well. They hardly really show a picture of the girl who wrote in the magazine, and what we do see, it doesn't look like the wife. But then when they're in the bathroom she's tugging on her face so I'm thinking she got plastic surgery and changed the way she looked.

@@pamelawilliams3144 true!! I wonder who left the message, but I wonder if all she let him do to her was just because she didn’t wanna die. It had to be a lot that she endured because you can tell how much she cares about him at the end, she wasn’t moved by his death lmao. But a part of me wonders if she knew about how close Noa and Steve gotten, she was the first women he slept with since his doing. She more than likely either tried to kill Noa because of the jealously or because now her livelihood and income is ruined.

this movies so crazy, i honestly enjoyed watching it regardless of it being mad disturbing because the end of was satisfying. molly really was such a badass during the film and i was really happy to see them help penny get out of there as well. also, i think the reason why the 1% of the 1% does it is because human meat , organs, etc. are really really really expensive to buy. like in reality when people sell human organs and other stuff on the black market/dark web its extremely expensive which is how they were selling it. so it would make sense that only those people would be able to afford it. fuckin gross to think about but yeah thats why i think the reason is they are the ones who do it. i know this is an older video but this was an awesome watch with you guys!
