I totally didn't get until now that Lenny being a vegetarian was kind of an allegory for something else. That went over my head as a child lol, but pretty cool of them to include that message of the "odd" child striving to be accepted by their family!

@@shola.i8262 Yeah, like for one he's got a lot of stereotypical "gay mannerisms" so to speak, being more effeminate and all. His dad wants him to "be a shark" which is similar to parents of gay boys telling them to "be a man", and also he basically "comes out" to Oscar as vegetarian and talks about how he hasn't told anyone else and all that. Now as an adult it feels pretty obvious what they were going for but I totally didn't notice as a child haha
