Were any of you guys like me, watching the Krusty Krab Training Video as a kid and always thought there was some sort of TV connection issue before they told the formula? 🤣 As I got older, I got so mad when I realized they intentionally did that, but now whenever people react to it now, I just laugh!

Honestly, props to Mr. Krabs for vibing to young people's music to the point of requesting it on the radio and dancing on the table!

Not gonna lie, "Electric Zoo" was my jam for a few years. I still love it. Also, "Krusty Krab Training Video" is my favorite episode, period. The presentation is top knotch. And the part where they cut off the secret formula at the end frustrated me so much as a kid.

If I had a nickel for every "Mr. Krabs as a robot" episode I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but weird that it happened twice. Additionally Krab Borg is eerily similar to the Dick Van Dyke Show episode It May Look Like a Walnut in which characters watch a creepy movie and become paranoid it's starting to become real and it's played for laughs. I've never seen it listed as an inspiration for this episode but I don't think it's a coincidence these two are some of the best eps of their shows!

Only SpongeBob can make an episode dedicated to a training video, and have it be the best thing ever

That training video troll was even worse my first time watching it on cable cause instead of fading to black then rolling credits like they did on Paramount+, it would abruptly cut straight to commercial breaks confusing you into thinking the network screwed up by accidentally cutting to commercials early or something 😂

You guys would be right about the clam episode, cuz even back in the day my mom had problems with me and sister watching it, and likes to blame how we acted on SpongeBob. So yeah people would most likely try to cancel the episode maybe even the show.

I like to believe that Spongebob and Squidward had Madness for Two. A condition where one's psychotic outburst/paranoia is spread to a second person that is in close proximity for long periods of time, ie a work environment. Squidward would not normally be the one to jump at a crazy theory like that even if he DID go crazy.

I think this is one of the best four-episode pairings in the show's run

The training video is probably one of my top episodes from Spongebob just from how different it is.

So I genuinely thought there was an interruption every time the end of the training episode came up Also, the song “Electric Zoo”-I dropped a drum and bass remix of that in a DJ set recently and the people went crazy for it. So glad they appreciated that lol

After Mr. Krabs starts screaming about the hooks in the beginning, the customer says "Can you make that to go?" And Squidward says, "You don't know how lucky you are" before the customer walks away with his bag.

As someone who's watch training videos for Christmas jobs I can tell you that the Krusty Krab Training Video episode is an accurate lampoon.

Yeah, for years I questioned why the training episode ended before we could find out what the formula was, and now in my adulthood I realize that was on purpose.

They can leave with the food if they want. In that same episode, squidward ask “will that be for here or to go”. Also Patrick ate a krabby patty at 3 in the morning on another episode.

In the episode with the Fishing Hooks before Mr Krabs comes storming the Krusty Krab, the customer tells Squidward ".. can you make that to go". Then Squidward tells him you don't know how lucky you are before he walks off

I think thr Krusty Krab is meant to be more of a small business than a big corporation like McDonald's. Those, especially when the episode was made, don't always have drive through windows as frequently as bigger places.
