It's a real shame The Billion Brick Race and this movie's sequel Lego Superfriends got cancelled. I hope these amazing characters get to see the light of day someday eventually again.

I'm pretty sure the reason why Batman abandoned his "family" to fight joker was because it reminded him of his pain watching his parents die. He doesn't want that to happen to Robin. That's why the two pictures look similar.

As a connoisseur of DC Comics, I love how many obscure villains show up to help the Joker and later Batman. I love that Alfred is crucial to the plot and kicks some as with the rest of the Bat Family. But most of all, I love the arc Batman goes through, learning to move on from his past trauma and let new loved ones into his life.

The Eye of Sauron thing is so much funnier when you realize a. Sauron had a physical form, as in the one that's in the prologue of the first movie b. He's canonically the second most powerful villain, the first is his old master Morgoth, who is responsible for all evil and required a big chunk of Middle Earth to be destroyed to finally defeat him

Fun fact: we were supposed to get a sequel to the lego batman movie which according going to "Superfriends meets Justice League meets Godfather 2" but because the lego movie two didn't do to good in the box office it was scrapped I found that out ago year a and I never financially recover from that ever since.

Depending on the version of batman it's iffy how old Barbara is. Because Jim Gordon is often part of the police when Bruce first loses his parents, and it all depends on how old they are in general. Because sometimes batman has been batman for like 20+ years and then Barbara finishes college or batman and Barbara are of similar age because Jim Gordon always has to be older than bruce

I was 10 when this came out and I flipped my shit. I watched it day one, center if the theater and adored it. I got like half the sets after everything was set and done, and enjoyed everything about it. I eventually took my sets apart and it became a memory. After 6 years I rebuilt my Ultimate Battle Build(still a 10/10 set) and then I rewatched the movie and I loved it just as much as when I was 10. 12/10 movie fucking amazing

14:33 James Gunn took over the studio literally years after The Flash was already filmed. Plus, Ezra Miller was cast by Zack Snyder for the Justice League movie like 10 years ago. You can’t blame James Gunn for releasing a movie with a criminal as the main character. He had nothing to do with that. Of all people, Zack Snyder is probably more at fault than James Gunn. And even then, it’s still not Zack’s fault either. Warner Bros should’ve fired Ezra years ago. Instead, they’re still completely refusing to acknowledge that he ever did anything wrong and they’re claiming that he’s still going to play The Flash. Obviously, James Gunn is going to recast The Flash for his new DC Universe.

I remember being surprised to see the clip of Emmet falling into the abyss in the movie, which meant that The LEGO Batman Movie is obviously a canon spin off to The Lego Movies, taking place before the sequel´s events, I guess Emmet really is famous, who knew that willingly jumping off a government building to his ¨death¨ would make such an impact in Gotham City.
