The broken hunting rifle is a material used to "Craft" the hunting rifle in the tier 3 workbench, I can understand your confusion with the repair bench, that would make more sense lol.

Honestly, what I really like about you keeping in some of the looting moments in the video is that It really helps keep the pacing well-balanced for the video, instead of it being too quick-paced when you just left them out. Jumping from one activity to another activity hours later or even days really makes me feel left out of the journey, which is the best part of what makes this series as great as it is.

I have found this channel a few weeks ago, and I have been binge-watching everything on here. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but your content is just so darn good. The atmosphere, the occasional humor, the role-playing aspect. The way you keep the story going and somehow manage to make me want to watch you loot stuff, cook, and just do all kinds of stuff in different games. Life is pretty rough recently, but yeah, your content has been a blessing, screw Netflix and Hollywood, I absolutely prefer this. There is nothing better than sitting down in the evening with a bunch of snacks along with a few drinks, getting cozy, and watching Fooster. Thank you for the awesome stories and the wonderful adventures you are sharing with all of us.

When fishing, cast it as close to shore as you can. You have to be near the fish in order to catch it/grab it. There seems to be a bug where the fish never comes closer to shore if you cast it so far out. You should be able to walk a bit into the water to grab the fish. Don't go too far into the water. If you do, you will switch to swimming and loose everything. So, cast close to shore, hook it, reel it while slowly getting closer to the fish and you should get it...everytime. (Until your gear wears out.) It also keeps your gear from wearing out as fast.

You are the only gaming channel I still watch, most are just too juvenile and clickbait riddled for me. You don't scream, make childish jokes, or exaggerate your reactions, neither do you run through the games at lightning speed. I love that you actually explore, roleplay a little, take your time and truly seem to enjoy the games, which makes me enjoy them as well. Thanks for being awesome.

Tip for fishing - do not cast the line far. The fish damages fishing equipment by each second passed while the fish is still in the water. Cast it in immediate front of you where you can reel it in fast (with RMB) so the fish does not damage your equipment too much because some fishing equipment is not found often (lure especially) nor it can be crafted as of now.

Fooster when fishing ALWAYS keep the rod in the opposite direction of the fish to keep it from going further out. That’s why it seemed like you weren’t reeling It in

If I remember, from watching someone else some time ago, they always put Scott in an area full of trees and he'd go straight to work. He may have a radius that he scans and if there are no trees he just sits there. That fishing needs a rework, too. Yeesh.

Fooster in this part of the video 17:03. You can’t repair weapons that are completely fine. The shotgun that kept trying to repair was at 100% and had no need for repairs. You could however repair your bow though instead of making more of them, but then that depends on how much it takes to repair a bow and the cost of making a new one. But congratulations on getting over 700k subscribers. I love watching mist survival and it’s my favorite thing to watch after a long day of work and it’s hilarious watching it. Especially the funny glitches.

Fooster you can repair the broken weapons at the workbench (lvl 3) and dont store precious items on the dog, if he runs away the vest will be lost and so will your items be. This was the case a while ago but dont know if this is fixed

The deer was actually an axis deer, which aren’t native to the US. But at least fooster knew about whitetails and mulies. I noticed not many game developers or gamers have too good of knowledge of what animals are supposed to be on what continents and in their native ranges etc. Whitetails should be the proper common deer species for this area in the game.

For the hunting rifle you need to keep upgrading the workbench until you unlock the hunting rifle slot, then you can craft the rifle. If you look closer it says “crafting material” and it is already at 100% so it doesn’t need repaired. Love your videos! Don’t stop!

So I've been playing this a bit recently and I keep finding myself dying randomly while I'm in the truck. It's not because of hunger or thirst or any previous wounds. I'll get in totally fine and then die while driving. My assumption is that my body is clipping through the truck and hitting the terrain, or vice versa, and causing injuries related to falling. Anyone else experiencing this?

Fooster, you repair the rifle in the workbench. When you fish cast right in front of your feet. You won't have to reel much and it dosn't seem to matter as far as the size of fish you get. The truck is bad ass, you can drive right through the river!

Fooster, When you have two trees close together, if you stand in front of them, between them, you can hit them both with one swing of the axe. Saves time AND wear on the axe. May take some practice.

Mate, when fishing don’t go left middle left middle when the fish is going right, just hold straight to the left, and when the fish is going left go straight to the right, that’s why it wasn’t reeling in, because you kept letting off the slack and going to the middle. You’re good when the line is light yellow, once it starts getting dark then let off a little and then whip it back at first sight of green. It’s hard to get a grip on at first, but now I can catch fish like it’s nothing.

I also think that it is really cool that you can reload ammo in a game because my grandpa does this and has lots of black powder and about 300 pounds of lead (one pound per ingot).

Hey Fooster that deer you got was an Axis. They are some of the largest of the deer species and they keep their spots their entire life. Also funny fact... the males horns are so big and slope backwards and get caught under the front legs making them look absolutely haunting in the middle of the night on a backwoods texas road
