We went over budget at the equipment auction!

Since my shop is really small and my trucks are really big, I need some more storage space. So when I saw some storage buildings come up in the local equipment auction, I gave myself a $5,000 budget to bid on them. Buuuuttt... by the time it was all said and done, I won both buildings, but ended up over budget at $6,000. Then around the same time, Nate lost the motor in his pickup, and needed a new one for it. Now being that his truck is a 6.4 Ford, he decided that the right way to replace the engine was to find a 6.7 cummins to swap into it. So he got on Facebook Marketplace and found a wreck box truck with the engine he needed, and we loaded up to get both in one trip

I worked at the Woodburn Auction for around 20 years and loaded out machinery with a telehandler forklift, you would not believe the way people wanted stuff loaded!!, my favorite was setting forklifts on rotten wood deck trailers just to watch them fall through the deck and i could say " I told you so "

As a flatbed and specialized, primarily equipment hauler, I can confirm how butt hurt people get when you try and help them, and those telehandlers are not light... I just.load em on my 50ton Talbert tilt, hooked to my 379 and watch the show like you guys!

Loading the telehandler on frontwards works waaaaaaay better. I haul those machines all the time on my gooseneck. And it doesn’t squash the truck because most the weight is in the back on the axles. Great video! Y’all are hilarious!

This was a great video, the two guys loading that trailer was fun to watch, Casey and Nate's interactions, especially when Nates messes with him 😂. Also, cool score on the containers Casey! I think these containers are more useful than thise shipping containers many people buy, the included shelving and electrical hook ups are a bonus not to mention the floor design.

16:52 I worked for AT&T for 30 years (started when it was still Pacific Bell). For 12 of those years I was a construction cable splicer). We did a lot of repairs as well and nearly all of our cable plant was pressurized. So the last thing you want to hear after you close a case is a hissing sound. If you part your lips almost imperceptibly, you can make the exact sound of a leaking case and the person you are right next to in an echoy manhole can't tell it's you making that hissing sound. Even better if you're on the street over the manhole opening watching the person trying to close the case for the third or 4th time. That's your AT&T dollars working for YOU! I never got played with that trick because if it's that loud, bubble juice will show you exactly where that's coming from and when you squirt that in the mouth of the smart guy doing it? That's a good day at work. For second offenses, you squirt them in the eye. Oh, it's ALWAYS an accident when you squirt them. You NEVER look them in the eye and squirt them or you'll ruin the fun. You act really pissed off and keep squirting the seam of the case until you can get your elbow on the case act like you're looking for the leak after you aim it at the target, maybe act like you're torquing a bolt as you squirt them then apologize profusely. The fact that you were tightening a bolt just as they stopped hissing exonerates them as the source of the sound, and you as squirting them on purpose. And that glycerin and water in their mouth or eye isn't going to hurt a thing. At least I don't think I caused those peoples blindness or tongue cancers....(that's a joke, just relax)

Once a person buys/owns a Tow truck they wonder how they got by w/o one as they are so handy in so many situations. Rollbacks fit the same issue. Having good friends to share these trucks with is even better but beware as some people will abuse the friendship.
