I liked the NJO books, but this was my biggest issue with the EU. They turned the Yuuzhan Vong invasion as an excuse for a lot of the villains actions. Even Palpatine seized power so he could beef up the military to prepare.

Not sure if this is a hot take anymore, but I don't think Filoni should write a next season nor a movie. He should, however, work very closely with competent and talented writers to make his vision come to life in the best possible way. I don't think his "style" translates well to live action/shorter projects (compared to animation), and I feel like the Ahsoka series really proved that.

while it’s true that luke’s training under obi-wan and yoda was very limited, it was enough for him basically be at jedi knight level by the battle of endor. and ahsoka takes place more than 5 years after that, so luke is going to be significantly stronger/wiser/more experienced by that point. plus just being a skywalker means he would be a prodigy and very strong in the force considering he’d be roughly the same age anakin was at the end of the clone wars. we also get a small glimpse in the mandalorian of how much luke has matured and seems much more knowledgeable in the force now. and since he’s rebuilding the jedi order around this time it’s safe to assume he’s been collecting holocrons and other jedi artifacts and learning from them along the way, which is indirectly confirmed by the fact that he has yoda’s lightsaber at this time, which probably means he went back to dagobah at some point to search for anything of value yoda would’ve left behind for him

but i will concede that all the growth luke experienced in those years obviously took place off-screen so it’s unfortunate we never get to see any of that

likely the he was "killed" since hes been working with remnants but its also possible he knows the grand plan since appears to be the ring leader of the remnants in some way or another and is good at getting a hold of classified information even that type of information and i hope this isnt true prsonally but he could end up being used to help create the first order by either knowing the grand plan or being informed of it later on to further cement the sequels but i suppose we will see

Totally! What they really should have done is create 4 seasons of a completely different show that would fill all those holes…like, what if Ahsoka was just a continuation of that other show, so if you watched said other show first, everything would make sense? I mean, like, duh Filoni 🤦🏼

Not true! Ahsoka got more viewership than any original streaming show's first season.. It broke records! In particular Episode 4 - 6, and was the top rated new streaming series for its duration. Do ur research!
