Help Wanted 2 really reframed a lot of the modern Five Nights at Freddy's story in a way that I think helps add some cohesion to the narrative. Security Breach was obviously messy, but even after Ruin there are still a lot of unanswered questions. And I mean, it's FNAF, obviously there will be unanswered questions. But hopefully this can help answer some questions about the endings of Security Breach.

I think help wanted 2 and ruin follow the original security breach story We where supposed to shatter daycare attendant, Monty, Roxy and then Chica in that order before 1 of the 3 glamrocks got pushed to the post game and moons bossbattle was scrapped.

don't forget, there are employees that are trying to rebuilt the pizzaplex as seen by the big banner in the lobby and other stuff like the freddy head being ripped off the body by chains. maybe cassie dad was a tech guy who worked at the pizzaplex, then was sent into the ruin pizzaplex by fazbear to do something? because that that, the events in help wanted 2 happen.

There is a problem with how you described Freddy's body in the SB: Princess Quest Ending and Ruin. In SB he is on his back, on the floor, and surrounded by deactivated staff-bots. In Ruin he is is his chest, on a pile of debris. Rolling him over on the floor would be relatively easy, but the debris wasn't there in the Princess Quest ending.

i think every ending happened but not in the way we are shown The Burntrap ending happens first. That’s why Burntrap is gone in ruin, he was absorbed into the Tangle and why the tangle no longer has red eyes, and that's how the pizzaplex was destroyed, the blob tunnelled through the place and caused an earthquake. But we don't go to that hill just yet Next the Vanny ending happened where Gregory won princess quest Four and trapped Vannys consciousness outside of Vanessa while freddys body was left for dead and Gregory took his head away from the main pizzaplex Then the fire ending happened but vanessa joined Freddy and Gregory as they left the pizzaplex instead of freddy and vanessa dyeing. But the biggest change is that its flipped. Vanessa escaped while Vanny was trapped in the pizzaplex and in princess quest Four while Vanessa is free. Vanny is left Without a host and without a body. As for the van ending Vanessa is the one driving the van (OBVIOUSLY) and instead of the newspaper about the new face of fazbear entertainment its instead the 3 of them sitting on a hill with icecream from the 3 star ending then finally the alleyway ending, I feel like its more symbolic if anything. After the trio enjoyed the sunrise they moved into vanessas place and get too see the real nice vanessa…but Gregory still has issues trusting her and is worried she’ll turn into vanny again.

Theory on Freddy, I think that “ice cream cake” minigame is bogus. It’s in the AR world, so what we’re seeing is likely fake anyways, but we’re messing with the damaged parts of him, his messed up arms, his caved in torso, and his missing head. How does the head factor in? He talks about not seeing us due to his ocular fluid being frozen, but no matter how much heat gun you use on his eyes, he can’t see, almost like there’s nothing there to melt. So, if that’s the case, I wonder what we’re really taking out and replacing from his chest cavity, maybe the present that he had in his stomach hatch when ruin started? After all, the only thing we see in his stomach previously is a present, so replacing the missing present makes sense, and would explain why there is a new one in his stomach without this being a new freddy

THIS! This is so smart! I came to the comments to leave one of my own about the Freddy minigame being in AR so that's why he looks so fixed, but I never even thought about the idea that the REAL freddy is actually there behind the mask, and that we're taking something else out of his chest. This all lines up so perfectly, I hope something comes out of it!

that can be perfectly explained. nothing says burn trap is real just tangle is. we see the old props in the display cases are missing at the beginning of the game, meaning tangle will always exist no matter what. burntrap has no such proof.

Some more evidence for Mimic and Burntrap being different entities is that Mimic brute forces when it attacks, while Burntrap has a strategic method of attack. Burntrap moving from computer to computer trying to take over Freddy to kill you and Mimic fighting Roxy and running straight for Cassie.

Burntrap might not even exist,Just because the tangle is around doesnt mean burntrap is a thing,Burntrap is probably a 'what-if' glitchtraps plan went through??I mean come on now how would Glitchtrap be a seperate Mimic.A staffbot with rabbit ears resembling glitchtrap gave Cassie the Vanni mask,Helpi a DIGITAL entity lies and plugs Cassie's brain to the system (Very Glitchtrapie right?)it wants to get rid of MXES who is also serving as an antivirus aswell while Glitchtrap is a virus you can clearly see that the more security nodes we get rid of the more glitchier the virtual world gets and after getting rid of mxes and reaching the mimic we cant put the mask on anymore.The mimic puts her in the brazil ending using the Vanni mask so it would have to have atleast some power to do so (You can argue that Glitchtrap is the guy in the chair for the mimic to free him but that wouldnt work because the Glitchtrap possesed Helpy has Orange eyes just like the mimics.)Also like...Burntrap does have a scrapped animation of him running but in the actual game he can barely walk so yeah lets not bring up Burntrap at all because his bossfight was insanely bad and he had little to no character whatsoever

My interpretation of help wanted was that Vanny isn't Glitchtrap's puppet anymore, but she is still Vanny. Like whether or not she's in Vanessa, she still exists and has her own motives

When Ruin first released, I actually thought Gregory’s friend was Glamrock Freddy. People immediately assumed he meant Vanessa, and I kind of felt like an idiot for not thinking about her first. Thank you for acknowledging that it could be Freddy! It honestly makes me feel a lot less silly about it now lol

But it would be weird for the people responsible for translating the dialogue (and it was likely outsourced to another company) to be given definitive confirmation for a detail like that. Maybe they just assumed like many of us that the princess quest ending was canon and that Gregory was talking about Vanessa, the former security guard who would have access to the plex’s floor plans because of her job. Nothing is outside the realm of possibility for hidden lore details in this franchise but without a way to actually confirm it, we can’t know for sure if that was something the devs were actually intending to be used as evidence. They’re still human after all, and sometimes things just slip through. Things get mistranslated all the time, the dev team’s primary focus is on the version of the game that is in the default language so they’re probably not thinking about the other versions as a place to hide secrets when they don’t even have enough time to finish the game in the first place. (Remember, crunch culture means that everyone suffers in the gaming industry, the devs, the players, the game itself, and even if it means the game comes out in time for peak sales periods, the game will gain a bad reputation if it’s riddled with game breaking glitches and bugs. *glares meaningfully at the corporate entity responsible for pushing security breach as a big important PS5 title to be released before christmas a few years ago*)

You mentioned you were unsure why Freddy looks in such good condition in his HW2 minigame, and I think I have a good answer for that. We see Ruined Chica having lost her hand, and Shattered Roxy becoming Ruined Roxy in the version of the game that canonically happens in the real world. The Freddy minigame is one we complete when the mask is still on.

This is a good theory. One issue: the Burntrap bossfight room isn't crumbled in RUIN like it should be in the ending. Personally, I still believe the PQ ending is canon, but PQ3 simply didn't get rid of Glitchtrap, rather stripping it down to only a line of code (also hinted to by a cut voiceline stating that Glitchtrap only has a line of code left), which we (as Cassie's dad) and the White Rabbit (what I call Vanny, given she's been separated from Vanessa) finally delete during the events of HW2

Probably The last hit on burntrap caused a hole in the wall conveniently behind freddy and Gregory so they escaped through there and burntrap tried to chased them down but couldn't keep up.

Why can't the Freddy in the Freezer just be a simulation of the past? Like, obviously some, if not all, of the training sequences are simulated. We work on Roxy before she gets her face smashed in, Chica before her damage, and at multiple events at Fallfest in 1983...

Why not just spread out how long the game takes? It doesn't necessarily have to happen all in one sitting for the player character; perhaps some of these are from when he starts out, like the early Food Service games or Cold Storage, and some later minigames take place between SB and Ruin.

I think the two endings canonically happen “back to back”; beat burntrap and then you free Vanessa with whatever amount of time separating the two. Just like I believe HW2’s events are happening at different times in the canon (no elaboration here) Just my thoughts quickly 😮‍💨 [Ruins ending I think was left open with the two options to give room for what they decide to do with the story at the time - we know more now]

I fully agree. Gregory goes down to the Pizzaplex basement, defeats burntrap, escapes with Freddy, then does the Vanny ending and leaves with Vanessa possibly hours or even minutes before the Pizzaplex caves in.

I think in the Burntrap ending, when Tangle grabs Burntrap, it rips an arm off and the Mimic self-repairs with the arm, which is why that arm matches Burntrap, but the other doesnt, and explains why there's behaviour differences.

I believe it’s none of them, I think all the comics are Gregory’s way to cope with everything that happened, so the true ending is a strange mix of them, or none of them.. Though one point you missed is the whole thing about the Pizzaplex being ruined due to an earthquake, not it being burned down, which is also shown by the fact that the Burntrap room isn’t burned down, and looks completely different.. Which can also support Gregory not actually having gone down there to beat Burntrap.

Finally, this always seemed like the definitive answer and the evidence all point towards it, thank you for showing it us. Also, an additional detail: At the beginning on SB, we can take from the notes that PQ1 & 2 have already been beaten, yet Gregory is unable to play PQ3 without beating the previous two himself. That means that is mandatory that it is the same person that has to beat all the PQ arcades. So... If Jeremy is able to play PQ4, it is because he was the one who completer PQ1, 2 and 3.

While I understand that the "Monty destroyed Bonnie" thing is probably canon it still doesn't make any sense to me. 1 - Monty had no motive, in Ruin we get proof that he hated Freddy, not Bonnie. 2 - if Monty's motive was just to get in the band why does he skip practice to go lurk where Bonnie was last reported being seen? (Duffle bag report) 3 - the last known sighting of Bonnie was reported by Vanessa and I don't believe anything she says cuz she's a brainwashed liar 4 - Bonnie's damage is almost identical to the damage Freddy obtained when he was set upon by the StaffBots in the "dismantle Vanny" and "princess quest" ending 5 - the damage on Bonnie also indicated claws were used but Monty didn't get the claw upgrades until after Bonnie went missing 6 - if Bonnie was last seen in Gator Golf how did he get back to his bowling alley without being seen/why didn't Monty just destroy him there? Monty straight up is not intelligent enough to not just destroy him right there he doesn't have enough brain cells to either follow Bonnie back to his room or take him back (tho damage shows he was destroyed in the bowling alley not moved there after the fact) Basically SteelWool can say it's canon all they want but their own story telling makes me think it was the staff bots on Vanny's orders. Why? Cuz it seems that Bonnie was an original security node to keep the mimic trapped.

I've seen some people theorizing that he may have done it under the effect of the virus but your last two points give enough reason to debunk that as well. Poor guy was 100% used as an scapegoat to hide the suspicious circumstances of Bonnie's disappearance.

6 actually has an answer, he was dragged there. If you look closely, bonnie is actually laying on a ripped on some kind of mat or carpet that you only see In monty golf. and as for the staffbot damage on Freddy? its a victim of Developer intent and unused content, as the shattered Freddy design used in the game was intended for a scene where Freddy's own bandmates as found by data miners in the unused voicelines destroyed him, not staff bots, meaning Bonnies design lines up.

For #5, Monty could still slash Bonnie. The Freddy and Roxy have claws, but they don't have the upgrades. So it is entirely possible that Monty had claws before replacing Bonnie, and the upgrades didn't give him claws, just enhanced them

And given that Freddy and Roxy have claws, yet don't know the guitar that Bonnie did, it is very much possible that Monty had claws before replacing Bonnie. Plus, it would just make sense to make your alligator robot have claws

Burntrap also “powers up” Glitchtrap in his ending. That’s how Glitchtrap takes over Freddy. Burntrap touches the screen and suddenly Freddy’s eyes turn purple and he attacks Gregory. That’s not something the mimic could do. Also,the fnaf encyclopaedia (even if most people don’t trust it,it does at least show the intention of the creators) says on Burntrap’s page “Fuelled by whatever was inside Springtrap,which appears to have lived on in the form of Glitchtrap”

YES! Gregory doing the burntrap ending and Jeremey doing the princess quest ending separately makes so much sense. I had figured Gregory did both, doing the princess quest ending first and then later returning with vanny, freddy, or both to do the burntrap ending (i think you had a theory about that too) but it makes way more sense that cassie's dad did princess quest quietly in the backround of SB. Great theory!

honestly it feels like they had an ending picked out from one of these 2, saw alot of theories around it being close, if not absolutely correct, and changed a few things around to make it a guess instead, hence why both endings make complete sense after hw2.

I think after seeing this video that three endings could be canon after all the pizzaplex is a very big building. What happens in one part of the building could potentially not happen in another part. Since the burntrap ending happens deep underground it could theoretically only collapse everything around the sinkhole a bit more. So the could actually escape from there get back up to the garage and steal a freddy van and escape the pizzaplex. Where Gregory figures out how to recharge freddy. This could lead to one of two possibilities for the third ending. Either Jermery (Working Name) or Gregory could have done the vanny ending and freed the glitched up part of vanny. But those thoughts and feelings don’t just immediately disappear from her psyche, which could still lead to vanny still being a sociopath.

The thing about Bonnie's death is the motive. It obviously wasn't for his endoskeleton, like we all initially thought. The only real motive I can see for why they didn't just replace Bonnie was that he was catching onto what was happening. I could even see Bonnie removing himself from the system intentionally after catching onto what's happening inside it. If that happened, then Glitchtrap and Vanny would need to stop Bonnie. And if he really did remove himself from the system, they couldn't just plug his personality chip into a new endo and replace him, which is why they didn't. The thing is, if this really is the motive for killing Bonnie, then while it was probably the other animatronics who killed Bonnie, they were being controlled by Glitchtrap directly. And if that is true, while it probably was Monty, there's no reason why it HAS to be Monty, or if it has to be JUST Monty. I think it's more likely that the entire Glamrock band, possessed by Glitchtrap, cornered him in Monty Golf to take him apart. It could even lead to a really sad, emotional moment between Freddy and Bonnie, as Freddy unknowingly was behind his destruction.

I firmly believe the Burntrap Ending to be canon. Simply because it's even hinted out in the novel Bobbidots Conclusion, where Gregory writes an essay about an "animatronic supervillain fighting a tentacle monster". this is a clear reference to the Burntrap Ending with Burntrap as the "animatronic supervillain" and Tangle as the "tentacle monster".

I would believe that if it wasn't for the fact the area where the Burntrap ending is, is completely still in tact. No sign of a battle or the fire that happened. Plus, all the animatronics shouldn't have existed in Ruin because all of them were down there when it came crashing down. Also the pizzaplex wasn't burned down, it was hit by an earthquake according to the newspaper scattered everywhere. There's too many things contradicting that ending for it to be canon anymore. It could be possibly that parts of it did happen but not the part with Burntrap.

The BurnTrap ending is cannon, I'd bet. However, the last part where Tangle grabs BurnTrap is not. This BurnTrap was either a Hallucination or some other trickery. I'd like to point out that Gregory or Freddy never actually saw BurnTrap. They saw him through a video monitor, tech we already know can be manipulated.

Personally while I definitely feel the princess quest ending is canon I think of the burntrap ending as a faith kinda situation The ending itself likely didn’t actually occur But the characters exist in some way It feels the most logical in my personal eyes by the fact that the fnaf ruin stuff was unscathed when in burn traps room, either cuz it got out on its own or was moved

Also when we first go down to the burntrap room the camera goes through the vent and we see burntrap go out of the charging station and if you go to one of the hall ways you will see burntrap open the door and walking to one of the rooms

honestly, the more theories i watch, the more i start to believe that steel wool is doing multiple endings to confuse people, but also to not do a single ending with multiple things that can't be put together. like with the burntrap and princess quest endings, if you try to put both of those storytelling elements together, they don't really fit, and it makes it harder to have a cohesive ending. but they're separate, and that helps them in the sense that they can grab bits of what both endings imply to develop the story further without compromising on what they want/can do in the future

Anyone thinking The Mimic AI came from FNAF World? We do have A Mimic Ball, that summons a green Freddy that looks like a hologram, and it’s possible to u lock a chip that’s called, “Auto Mimic”. And it’s interesting that it’s the first time we’ve seen the word mimic, and FNAF SL mentions it in the blueprints. Just thought about bringing it up. Hope you guys like it, and hopefully this will be noticed. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

This is completely irrelevant to anything else in the video, but in the intro, non-Euclidian liquids are not a thing. I think you’re talking about non-Newtonian fluids, which change viscosity when force is exerted upon them. Oobleck is a classic example of a non-Newtonian fluid; it becomes more viscous when force is applied (hence, when you try to mix it with a spoon, it’ll start acting more like a solid, but it’ll flow through your fingers like a liquid). Keep being awesome, Toast. And know that Euclid is the geometry guy, not the physics guy 👍

You know if the books are canon to the games the books do say there are more than one Pizzaplex meaning more than one of the endings could still be canon. Each of the endings to Security Breach could take place at other Pizzaplex locations. Even if the books are not canon the games could still have more than one location.

i always believed because gergory is a kid, and you "see" the world from his eyes it would make sense that every ending is both canon and not canon, and the 1 star ending is a nightmare of some sort and in ruin DLC, bits of every endings are used to proved that because gergory is a kid, some scenes may never actually happened and replaying the game? its happening in his head

What it potentially could be is, Vanessa is using the Vanny Suit, under good circumstances to at least in her mind right the wrongs she did when under the Mimic01 Program it's why she crushes Glitchtrap at the end of HW2 Princess Quest Ending meaning she finally put that part of her down once and for all

Everything’s so confusing now, but I think I got a hold of everything that happened before Help Wanted 2, because I have no fucking clue what happened in there. Ok, my theory for Burntrap is it’s Glitchtrap possessing the Mimic. After the Mimic was springlocked in the final epilogue, Glitchtrap had Vanny and Gregory modify the Mimic into something more of his liking. He then had the Mimic put in the stasis pod to keep him from waking up while he started growing flesh over him

My reason not to believe it is the game keeps shouting "Monty did it!!" but they never give a reason why, heck if it was Freddy that was destroyed then the game is giving us a reason in both the first Monty Gator Golf minigame with Freddy In a Trash can (Freddy seems like an odd rabbit doesn't he?) and on the Gondola ride where he's hitting Freddy with a hurricane while Bonnie falls from the cat walk (if only there was an AR map there cause it would have been a good time to say who Really did it (Be it Monty or who ever it was) and if its not Monty could be an Alibi Attempt.)

I suspected both endings happened but at least one not the way it was presented. I thought it was the burntrap ending as the room he came from doesn't have the damage from said ending. You, however, are proposing the opposite.

Honestly I think that both the burntrap and princess quest endings are canon, but with the burntrap ending being why in ruin that the place is destroyed and the princess quest ending being why Glamrock Freddy was replaced with a prototype, as before the repair Vanessa says to Glamrock Freddy that they can just get a new endoskeleton and suit to replace him. Something along those lines anyways. Also probably not correlated to the in lore, but it's my thoughts on the matter.

Freddy I feel (ruin) is the system showing his body is there but when the person has the mask “I only know one bunny” or whatever he said implies he can’t see the technicians or the vanni mask wearers so he basically avoids them ,but when you don’t have the mask on he’s on your ass lol

About the arcade conspiracy guy, it couldn't have possibly been him to free Vanessa from her Glitchtraped state because in one of his logs, he complained how he did 1-3 of the PQ arcade machines, yet for some reason he was still unable to play the 3rd one. Gregory on the other hand can beat 1-3 and Cassie's dad had managed to finish what Gregory started. So it's thanks to Gregory that Cassie's dad can finally feel "worthy of the princess." Man, the princess really likes to pick favorites, I hope you can do a theory on that!

I definitely believed since Ruin came out that Burntrap and Princess Quest were both canon in a way. It just makes the most sense story wise. And yeah I won’t say I called it cause I never went out to say it but I think it’s just the best way to explain Ruins well ruined appearance and missing Vanny and other stuff.

I just noticed that Glam Freddy's eyes are blue in the initial cutscene to Security Breach but when he's booted into safe mode his eyes glow yellow, is he still in safe mode in the Help Wanted 2 minigame? idk it's weird

People always mention the 3 star ending in the "which one is canon" debate, but I've thought those mean something different since the release of security breach. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the number of stars match the number of characters who escape the pizzaplex? Princess Quest is 3 stars, as Gregory, Vanessa and Freddy ('s head) leave. Leaving straight away gets you 1 star as Vanessa and Freddy are left behind. Freddy and Gregory leave in burntrap and the fire ending, so 2 stars. Have I missed something?

All FNaF Theories need to see this. And in my opinion, it’s the same as your theory. I do believe that both Afton Boss Fight and The Princess Quest Ending are both canon. And I’ve seen this theory from a KZfaqr called Twisted Animatronic but I’m happy that people can get to agree to Twisted Animatronic’s theory and your theory

I just KNEW the burntrap ending was real, with evidence of Vanny never being set free from Afton's grasp, as shown in ruin from grafitti, the bad ending of HW2, ect. Even if this is not true and just a theory I like to think that theres more people just don't look into a lot.

I personally think the first ending, Gregory getting kidnapped by vanny is the cannon ending. Because in ruin, we see missing posters of Gregory, and that’s another way the mimic could have Gregory‘s voice, because vanny took him. Idk I’m not a theorist or anything but that’s just my opinion 😁 Love ur theories!! ❤️

I have a wild theory just for fun-Just occurred to me and may be totally off base.. what if the princess quest ending is cannon but in a prequel way? The three of them trying to do the “heist” situation you mention but it takes place before security breach. They are the security breach and they hack their way into the system, get Vanessa hired despite no experience, Vanessa gets put into Vanni and loses herself, forgets Gregory and their mission, steals the Freddy head back and put him back together (explanation for prototype vs og) and that’s why Gregory is there, why all the weirdness is there and then it’s them trying to get back out, following the burn trap ending. I can practically feel the hate coming my way for this theory.. it’s not fully fleshed out or explains anything but felt like a possibility that would be fun to explore ✌️

I wonder if the next dlc for security breach or possibly SB 2 would be a prequel. The people are starting to go missing and cassies dad meeting gregory, who has an explanation for the major power surge in the basement. Gregory being under the posession of glitch trap. He believes him being his daughters only friend. gregory leads him to the fnaf 6 pizzaria, where he starts to untangle the mystery. Vanessa knows if one of the staff messing with her plans and fires or kills them all leaving jeremy as the last technician. He is trained on eveey espect of the pizza plex now to fix an staff bot that malfunctions. Eventually she figures out its him actually trying to stop her and fires him too. He comes back after the burn trap ending to make sure burntrap or the mimic are gone and vanny kills him. A year passes and cassie gets a call to the pizza plex.

The bit about Burntrap necessitates all 3, is something that particularly struck me, mainly as to how Ruin be from that if were to just follow PQ3. That if you spared Monty or Chica, they'd have a different model to the Ruineds we see. Either completely alt Ruineds with Monty legs, or just using their Shattereds. Chica appearing on the poster garnered hype until the trailer leaned us towards Roxy. Yet the entry pass cutout where Cassie grabs a flashlight stuck out to me as both girls were intact. There's also the question if they hold some vendetta on Gregory, as they can't voice it like Roxy, so if one was spared, maybe they'd be a touch less aggressive? I thought of something for a route of sparing Chica in base, doing PQ3 and returning the voicebox (maybe), tho I'm kinda unsure for Monty...

One detail that bothers me about the Monty/Bonnie situation is that Monty didn't get his upgraded claws until after Bonnie was out of commission, but Bonnie was covered in claw marks. I supposed it could be argued that his original claws were sufficient, but that just feels like bad storytelling to me.

Notably there are several details in ruin that have been retconed in to if always been true, for example Cassie talks about how her dad used to have a fazwrench so we know the wrench slots in animatronics isn't something new but something that has been changed to of always been there, sun/moon/eclipse have a fazwrench slot yet we don't think it's a different version, also notably vannesa says monty would replace freddy until they can put his casing on a new endo so there isn't multiple Freddy's only multiple generic endos that can be trained to be a freddy, so for prototype to be a different freddy fazbear would have to see freddy missing train a new endo put him in costume replace the missing head on the costume then the new freddy would have to go to the exact place that our freddy was in and get damaged in the exact same way and onto of all that fazbear would need to make the conscious choice to replace freddy but not replace or repair any of the other shattered animatronics so that they could then become their ruined versions by the time Cassie gets there

This is definitely a well put together theory, though I can’t say I exactly agree with it. But that’s the beauty of theorizing; there’s so many different ways things can be interpreted. I still fully believe only PQ ending happens as Ruin makes it fairly obvious. And Gregory (and Vanessa) most likely sealed the Mimic after SB, as Gregory’s drawing of the Burntrap Ending is in the Burntrap Arena, which could really only be there if he was there after. Also, the Burntrap Ending shows Gregory and Freddy escaping unscathed, to get the ending Freddy needs every single upgrade, and yet Chica’s voice box is still in the Pizzaplex Bakery, as well as Chica, making it seemingly impossible Freddy got that upgrade and made it out of the Pizzaplex.

I have to argue about the comic and tangle. Just because the tangle exists didn't mean burntrap does. It can still be Gregory saw the tangle and then made up burntrap for his comic. So tangle can be real and the other not.

I'm starting to think that the kill Vanny ending is cannon. For one, the Freddy we see in Ruin is broken in the same way the he gets broken in Security Breach. And we have no hard evidence of Freddy existing after Ruin. In that same vein, we have no evidence of Vanny existing after Security Breach. Now all the evidence I've put forward so far is pretty neutral. It doesn't point one way or the other, but you know what does point to the this ending being cannon? The normal ending of Help Wanted 2. Cassie's dad ends up trapped in the network of the Pizzaplex. How does that happen? He gets torn apart by Staff Bots in the same way as Vanny. Combine that with the fact that the only instance we see of Vanny after Security Breach is a data version of her that exists exclusively within the machine and I think there are legs to this possibility. In fact, I think all the bunny markings and insignias throughout Ruin may b a result of Vanny taking control of the Pizzaplex staffbots and having them mark her territory so to speak. (I recall everyone finding it odd that those markings existed in Ruin, but, if Vanny is trapped in the Pizzaplex with the Mimic, it makes a lot more sense). I know you might be thinking, how this could happen if the Princess Quest Machine had a sword through it in Ruin? I would posit that, if Cassie's Dad was able to play Princess Quest in between Security Breach and Ruin, that means Gregory couldn't have beaten Princess Quest in Security Breach. After all, why would Vanny's soul still be tied to the machine if she has already been freed? (And she is tied into it still since Vanny appears at the end of it). The only point of evidence against this is the drawings of Ruin, but I'm not certain that these drawing existing mean that this ending never happened. We still aren't 100% sure the relevance of these drawings at all, so I think it is fair to go forward with this in mind as a possible explanation.

I just realized this, for the animatronics to be destroyed in ruin, the burntrap ending is the only one that could’ve happened because that’s the only ending where all the animatronics have to be destroyed

You could also take this into consideration to add on to Gregory did the Burn Trap ending and Jeremy did Princess Quest. The fact that there's no comic for Princess Quest in Ruin doesn't automatically make the ending it self the true ending at least in how we knew it. Though rather there is no comic for that because it was an ending that happened, but not from Gregory's perspective, but someone else's. Hence why there's a picture of Burntrap and the blob that Gregory could envisioned.

What if Vanessa and Gregory weren't trying to bury the Mimic but Burntrap. Perhaps even Jeremy helped them. More on that in a second. The ending to HW2 could be telling us that they successfully removed the Glitchtrap Virus from Burntrap. However, this ended up being a bad idea as the Mimic endoskeleton remained and was incredibly violent. So they lure it into the back room and seal it in. Gregory doing the luring while Vanessa and Jeremy seal up the exit and set up Mxes. Or worse, something horrible happens to Jeremy during this process. Perhaps HW2 is actually Jeremy distracting the Glitchtrap virus for Vanessa and Gregory. But things go wrong and he gets trapped in some way. The bad ending has Glitchtrap escaping through Burntrap and forcing Jeremy into a staff bot. While the Princess Quest ending has Vanessa successfully get rid of what remains of Glitchtrap, unfortunately at the cost of Jeremy. This could be why the Mimic targets Cassie specifically. Because of what happened to her father. Edit: Basically the timeline is as follows: Security Breach Burntrap ending -> Jeremy finds the Princess Quest arcades and frees Vanessa -> The two seek out Gregory to help permanently trap Burntrap -> Help Wanted 2 (from the perspective of Jeremy) where things go horribly wrong -> However they ultimately succeed, leading to Ruin

Gregory and Vanessa could have worked together after security breach. Vanessa probably knew about the mimic, they worked together to lock it up and then it manipulated Cassie to come get it out.

Well I also think that the Burntrap ending and the princessquest ending happened. I also personally think that Glitchtrap is both the mimic and William Afton. Well the cyrcetboards of all animatroniks got scanned into Fnaf help wanted, maybe a digital copy from William Aftons mind that came from Scraptrap was scanned in too and attached itself to the mimic1 Programm and formed glitchtrap. One thing to think about it. In Help Wanted 2, you play the Chica and Roxy mini games with/without the mask on. Since the mask alters your perception of your environment, it suggests that the Chica/Roxy are actually ruined in the entire time but the mask makes it look like they are okay in the early games. It is reasonable to think that Freddy is also ruined during his minigame but the mask hides that. Maybe you have actually working on the headless freddy and you don't realize it. Or you have getting the early prototype out of the cold storage to replace the headless Freddy.

Everybody overlooks that the Tangle in den Burntrap ending has red eyes, but it doesn't have red eyes in Ruin. So, to me that means its not the same character and the burntrap ending never happenend.
