I just attended the one in Philadelphia, and though it touches on similar topics, this is a completely different conversation. Grateful to have heard them both. Very amazing, carefully woven and beautiful. It was an honor.

The bible doesn’t belong to any one religion, it doesn’t even belong to religion per se, it is a book for all people. Everyone has a right to read it and try understand it and benefit from the lessons within.

Jordan is admitting he is being an entertainer, and not a therapist of a science. Jordan is a Frasier Crane wannabe. He is an entertainer not a psychologist. Because he sells books and videos and lectures, THAT IS NOT THERAPY. He needs to address his bad conduct in courts in the case of Case 1 Sordi v. Sordi, 2009 CanLII 80104 (ON SC) he defamed a parent in court. In the case 2 R. v. Pearce, 2012 MBQB 22 (CanLII) he tried to free a murderer. Then in the case Peterson v. College of Psychologists of Ontario, 2023 ONSC 4685, he tried to avoid taking responsibility. He also tried to interfere in a family court case in Montana, the Kolstadt case, where there was a GAG order, he unprofessionally diagnosed a minor without interviews or assessments, and tried to defend unfit parents.

Uh.. dudes not perfect, but there's no arguing the fact that he's influencing so many lives in a positive way. I think at the root of it all that's what's most important. Like him or not, he's doin something right, and it's probably a good idea to be open to what he has to say

@@styplaya First, we need scientific proof he has helped ANYONE. Second, it doesn't matter, his conduct was intentional, and he has NEVER said it was a mistake. Nor apologized for all of the damage he has caused. We need for him to "confess" his sins before we can forgive him. Third, what proof do you have that would prove he is not requiring you all to subjugate to a specific cultural behavior norms, and not acting with a universal approach proven to be effective?

@@styplaya But his approach is not universal, He reverts to a Male / Female relationship model all the time, and refers to the Christian bible for his so called moral foundation. This makes him violate again the Code of Ethics in Canada and the US as a psychologist.

@@stevengoldstein114 right but I think you might take what he has to say about the Bible too literally. The truest foundation is God itself, and the Bible does a heck of a job pointing to it. The Bible is misinterpreted by mostly everyone including "good Christians" and he knows that, but chooses to utilize it anyway for what it really is meant to express. There's divinity within, and stories seem to represent that divinity. It's not a bad thing
