Someone said on twitter that the siblings are so used to traveling from world to world that the first thing traveler thought when seeing his sister was to get out of Teyvat and probably never come back again. That Teyvat was just another stop until they got trapped there. That just makes me sad honestly jskjdks because we met so many people and made friends but :(

"My memory has all but faded completely... But I will always remember how much she too, loved these flowers." breaks my heart everytime I hear it :(

Aside from Dain rushing alone (while holding the core he insisted keeping, so it wouldn't fall in the wrong hands) in a portal after the leader of the Abyss, an Abyss Herald, an possibly countless other enemies in the Abyss Order territory (an incredibly smooth brain move)... This quest was straight up FIRE.

I've been binging these cause it's so fun to see new players who actually care about the story and dont mass skip the dialogue

Bro i literally cried when my traveller finally saw their sibling but got separated once again right before their very eye after finding out they are on opposing end. I personally felt betrayed 😭 and then i decided to make 2 more accounts and replayed this quest lmao

You know what's funny about this ? The day this quest came out, we had access to an "Oceanid" pet that could "seal" enemies in bubbles. Of course, for revenge at the abyss hydro mobs who can also lock you in bubbles, a large part of the community had fun SPAMMING the pet's ability and locking those abyss enemies in bubbles, IN A LOOP. And a few days later, we learn that these enemies are just humans transformed into monsters. That's messed up and I keep believing that Mihoyo did it on purpose. I played through this, watched it several times on youtube, and it STILL sent shivers down my spine.

Actually I have seen one theory before, the statue might belongs to Cape Oath, which I think is true. As we can see the ruin there are surrounding by wind element, while the above is a black hole, Barbara did said the statue was gone overnight. So the abyss might use it to stole the statue, just like the herald method he use in this quest.

The "We will be reunited" story teaser was one of the first media I've seen from Genshin. Maybe a year ago? So when I played the Dainsleif quest, as soon as they mentioned the Ruin Guard trail and the dandelion, I started freaking out. lol. They've been holding out on that story since the beginning.

A hot take, Dainsleif is the Paimon to the sibling and they've just seen everything together once already. Mostly drawing from the similiar design on his cape to paimon's and the way they refer to the sibling. Also basing it on the 500 year loop theory, very easily am I over thinking it though, just a thought since Ive watched this quest a thousand times and I keep noticing small stuff.

Fun fact! I thought the abyss herald was wearing a tricorn hat at first. I was wrong. Look at its model in the archives, particularly from the sides, *that’s its head.* All members of the abyss order have bird heads. Abyss mages have tiny comical bird faces, heralds have short but sharp owl beaks, and lectors have extended plague-doctor crow beaks. What I want to know is why Foul-Legacy Tartaglia, who shares many aesthetic similarities with the abyssal leaders, has a face and head more like a hillichurl. How does he connect? Why is he so different? Is Skirk Lumine? Is Lumine the Tsaritsa? Where are my freemogems? Can Muhammad Ali fight an 800 foot tall mechanical Joe Frazier? My memory’s not what it used to be, but I think the entire earth was destroyed.

When Lan and Ganyu were talking about the treasure hoarders, there was a mention of two characters Stanley and Alice. I forget if they were ever mentioned in the main story but hey are famous Mondstadt adventures. Stanley is an adventurer found in Mondstadt, he plays a major role in Venti’s quest and I won’t say much else for spoiler reasons. Alice is an alchemist famous for defending Mondstadt with her bombs and writing the Teyvat travel guide. The travel guide is an actual book series you can collect when traveling to each nation (except for Inazuma as of now). She will be an actual character (possibly playable 👀) at some point, so far we have only heard her voice during the summer island event. Also real cute fact about her, she’s Klee’s mother! And Albedo refers to her as his Aunt, since she kinda raised him. She’s known for being more destructive and chaotic than Klee herself. She’s a very interesting character and I recommend reading her wiki page since she seems to be a bit important to the lore in my opinion.

I played this quest at 12 in the morning. You don’t know how much I had to hold back my tears. Something about this quest just makes me feel emotional and feel like I am actually in this world myself.

Two quotes from the Story Preview that always get me hype, especially with the backing song In reference to the Tsaritsa: "She is a god with no love left for her people, nor do they have any left for her; her followers hope only to be on her side when the day of her rebellion against the divine comes at last" The idea that a nation has no love for their God and their God doesn't feign having love in return, united only by the understanding that she will wage war against Celestia, with her nation having no choice but to hope for her success or face the punishment from Celestia [Khaenri'ah 2.0] "But in the hidden corners where the gods gaze does not fall, there are those who dream of dreaming. Some say a few are chosen and the rest are dregs but I say we humans have our humanity, we will defy this world with a power from beyond." The notion that a group of humans reject the rule of Celestia and the idea of only some being worthy of recognition (Gnosis and Vision bearers) and instead pushing forward through means other than gifts form Celestia, a display of human nature and the ability to persevere. An Archon (The Tsaritsa) rebelling against Celestia is wild, now consider that these are regular ass humans who were deemed not worthy by celestia who are willing to defy them. So fucking cool. It gives me undercover Khaenri'ah vibes, advancing their knowledge and understanding of the universe/alchemy while staying out of sight from Celestia.

From what i get = In short Lumine already finished Genshin Impact then return to it to over write the story (like selected a new game then re-write save data) While Aether is still ongoing journey to finish the game Zhongli kinda hinted that the world of Genshin repeat it self/in a cycle (IRL the symbol on Paimon's clothes have many different meaning including the life cycle) So that what Lumine trying to do To End that cycle Looks like she thinks Abyss should win probably because she herself defeated the Abyss then got a bad Ending story something like that So she decided to be on Abyss side this time Aether will get the same Story Ending of Lumine but will choose the different path or save everything/both sides High chance = find a different way to save both side

19:16 so in this scene, they both saw the destruction of Khanrei'ah. Just, Lumine first saw it. Then she woke up Aether to make a run from the heavenly principle's sustainer.

The last sentence from Lumine, in my opinion, is a hint that the two are immortal and who knows how old they are.

It's rare to get this excited when a video comes out! Am really loving this series, can't wait to see that Inazuma scene!

As an Aether main with ar55. Whenever I remember this quest and I passed it, I just cry. I can't.

As a person who picked Lumine instead of Aether, I gotta say that Mihoyo did an amazing job of making both Lumine and Aether fit either role.

This quest was a roller coaster ride! Honestly, I can't wait for more quests like this!

I can't wait for this story to continue. This is why I play the traveler and leveled the traveler to max level. I suspect he may have to duel the sibling 1 on 1 in the future.

I would be surprised about Lumine if the game hasn't spoiled it early on when the Abyss Mage called her Princess 🤣. it makes sense now since she basically traveled Khaenriah back then like we traveled Teyvat. then the Archons came and destroyed it, the citizens turned into hilichurls, the survivors formed the Abyss Order and seek revenge against the Archons. also this quest is the biggest offender of Paimon giving filler verbatim dialogue to pad the run-time. she's still cute though

This is it! The gold lore reveal of the game! Also one of the saddest and darkest quests in the game. This game has definitely too many _hotbed of possibilities_ indeed. Too many theories have also been discussed elsewhere in this game by many players who are genuinely focused on the lore.

Fun fact: the loom of fate that is the operation the abyss are using to make their own god, is also the name of the traveler's final character story, also at the end of the travail trailer, dainsleif says the "threads of ALL fate will be ours to reweave" you weave threads in a loom btw so this likely will have a heavy impact on the end of the game.

See, fighting the level 46 boss with level 50 characters is the smart thing to do. When I did it I didn't feel like tracking down level up materials and I just killed all of my characters fighting it with level 40s

Hey I'm just now catching up on all your Genshin videos and I'm having so much fun! Especially your reaction to the Teyvat Storyline video, I've been waiting to see you rewatch it after you've played the game because you can finally understand it and it was so good! Glad I got to see that

I'm so glad you revisited the two "(Contains Spoilers)" trailers after completing this mission, they made no sense to me when I started the game (Though when I fought the Ruin Guard at Thousand Winds Temple for the first time I thought "Wait a minute...". The trailers mean infinitely more and hit infinitely harder once you complete that mission Edit: What I will say though is that having one of those trailers be an advert is dumb as hell, half for the reason that everyone was mildly spoiled before they played the game and half for the fact that the one they didn't chose is a roadmap and probably would have worked even better as a trailer instead of just confusing everyone

here is a bit of advice from a veteran who completed this quest long ago for new players : abyss herald is hydro they are weak against cryo attacks like kayea & rosaria as a dps or chongyun!!

I could rewatch the Travail trailer over and over and never quit loving it. It always gets a reaction out of me, and it consistently got more as I progressed through the game and made more connections to what's said for the prologue and first 2 acts.

Did you notice that Kaeya and Dain have the same eyes 👀 this is because they both come from Khaenri’ah, which means Kaeya is going to have a massive role later in the game. So when Paimon remarked ‘how does this have anything to do with Kaeya’ in the beginning of the quest- Oh Mihoyo they knew what they were doing 😂

I feel like crying everytime I watch them reunite. This is honestly my favourite quest, I don't think it'll be topped, with all the lore reveals and the atmosphere created. Actually insanely well written, I think they'll be continuing this quest soon can't wait!

I loved this quest so much. The upside down god creeped me out so much and the way the thief died … but I demolish the Abyss Herald with Kaeya XD the poor guy was frozen all the time

The way Paimon talks about where they will stay after they find the sibling makes me kinda sad because I think the travel will just go to the next world after and abandon Paimon

This is where the Traveller comes into play, She gives all the Genosis to the Traveller, awakening the Traveller's true power. With their power returned and the aid from all 7 Genosis, they take on Celestial Gods one by one Morax fulfilling his contract with The Tsaritsa. spearheads a charge against Celestia along with the other Archons. The time of the Gods has long gone. Now dawns the age of humanity, no longer do they nead the divine protection from Gods. As for Celeste itself...it is time to put an end to this godly tyranny says The Seven. Perhaps it is due to him not ruling Mondstadt for so long that the Anemo Archon became the weakest among The Seven. A Celestial blow hit him square on the chest, immediately incapacitating him. "Huh... did drink too much this time too? Ehehe.... Barbatos mutters as his consciousness fade away. Enraged the Traveller rushes forward, only to be stopped once again by the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles. Now that they know the danger of her powers, the Traveller uses all their elemental attacks at once. Though they have learned, the deity is far more powerful than they can imagina. After all, now can the very deity that single handedly destroyed Khaenri'ah and Sal Vindagnyr be defeated by the power of the Genosis that are a part of her own powers? The Sustainer unleashes all of her Erosive blocks,creating a gigantic primogem shape that lunges forward at unimaginable speeds, paralysing the Traveller. The Erosive powers drive all 7 Gnoses out of control. With the Gnoses's power expelled all at once, essentially creating massive elemental reactions withing one's own body strong enough to rip apart reality, the Traveller is knocked unconscious. Together with Raiden Ei, realising that they have all been made a fool of by Celestia, losing their loved ones for Celestial greed, Unleashes their true Godly forms. "They who break the contract will suffer the wrath of rock. Must I remind you that our contract was to make a safe place for humanity to thrive in?" utters Morax, holding Barbatos in his hands. "I will not let what happened 3700 years ago happen once more," says Morax. Raiden Ei, having flashbacks of her friends killed one by one by the aftermath of the Archon war, unleashes her Musou no Hitotachi, now brimming not only with her power, but her regrets and hatred over the Celestial gods. Losing one's only kin in a war, only to then find out that they are all butcannon fodder in the eyes of the gods is a cruel fate As the two Archons stand tall will their powers rejuvenated, the desire to protect their friend Barbatos, the hopes and ambition of humanity and their will to survive and thrive, and to not let what happened to countless civilisations millenia ago happen again, Morax and Raiden Ei, taking on Beelzebul's form, teams up to take on the very being that begins history itself. 1:24:43 now where have I seen this before? Anyway, Lumine’s reaction here means that she woke up well before Aether did and had already completed her journey. Her first response was to grab Aether and *flee the planet entirely*. Yet here she is, 500 years later with the Abyss Order refusing to do just that when that’s all Aether wants. To abandon Teyvat to its fate and leave with Lumine. What happened I wonder? Maybe it has something to do with the first thing I said lol.

You have to realize some dialogue options are actually a singular sentence that couldnt fit on one bubble. There is no choice, its the same response, it just doesn't fit. Dont think too hard, they arent options. (honestly with such strict dialogue why dont they actually use voice acting when we cant choose what to say anyway)

Honestly, you probably could've seen the We Will Be Reunited Teaser right after the Prologue Chapter. All of that info is stuff that the player would've already seen in game by then. You see that the Abyss Twin has some status in the Abyss Order early on in the Mondstadt Archon Quest. Even The Traveler seeing a cataclysm before running into The Sustainer is right there in their character story.

i have been waiting for this vid and inazuma is so cool and bigger than the lore u experience. after this there is one more quest on how to get to inazuma. then, act 1 of inazuma is briefly on ritou and visions, act 2 and 3 is about elevtro archon battle and stuff
