Blame it on the international media for trying to diminish Brazilian cities and culture for DECADES and still counting. We have so many incredible things, places and cities to offer. Glad that you’re enjoying it and that you could see what Brazil actually looks and feels like.

Medias are only showing the truth 🤷♀. Are we going to romantize the dangerous place Brazil is compared with other countrys? Only the big cities are safer bacause tourists bring money to the country and still you can get robbed at any time

We have more than 45,000 murders per year. You can´t walk on the streets not afraid of having your things stolen or even dying. We do have some good elements on our culture, but a big part of it is based on physical pleasures and taking advantage upon the others. You can see the carnival partys and the "jeitinho brasileiro". The most of the image foreings have upon Brazil is, unfortunetly, true.

Brazil has 40.000 muders a year. Usa too has 40.000 muders a years. Yes, they have a 50% bigger population, but nobody believes that the U.S is just 1.5 more violnet than Brazil. The Media makes Brazil seem way more violent than it is and the U.S as way more safe than it is too,.@@l.torricelli9367

So happy you guys are in my city and having a good time here! If I may, I can give you some tips: - You should visit the “Liberdade” neighborhood which is a japanese neighborhood with lots of restaurants and stores, it’s very beautiful. They have an open market on Sundays but it is very crowded, you’ll have more freedom to walk on weekdays. - Beco do Batman (graffiti streets in Vila Madalena) - The historical center of the city is a very cool place to know but unfortunately it became very dangerous within the last couple of years, so if you go please be extra careful. - If you have the time, you should go to the state of Minas Gerais, it’s my favorite in Brazil. They have many historical cities (like Ouro Preto, Mariana, Congonhas and Tiradentes) where the Portugal’s monarchy used to explore our gold. It’s a place full of history, with astonishing churches and art. If you go to Minas, you should spend a day at least in the city of Inhotim, where they have the largest open-air art museum of the world. - Some food you MUST try: cachorro-quente (the hot dog of São Paulo is the most famous one), pão de queijo, brigadeiro, paçoca, PF (“Prato Feito” you can eat it in most of the brazilian local restaurants, it usually contains rice, beans, meat, salad, farofa…), açaí bowl, feijoada, dadinho de tapioca and brazilian bbq.

Nice! If you do visit Minas Gerais, you can stay at the state's capitol, Belo Horizonte. From there, you can go to Inhotim, Ouro Preto, etc and also check out some waterfalls in the state. Also, please please PLEASE eat pão de queijo from Minas Gerais, the others aren't the same (here we have queijo canastra, wich is a typical cheese that is used for making pão de queijo).

Yesss I can definitely pick up most of what they are saying here with my knowledge of Spanish - but it is much harder communicating back to them using Spanish. They seem to not really understand what I am trying to say. But we've gotten through most interactions much better using Spanish than English haha 😅

You need to visit Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Norte and Alagoas! They will look beautiful on the beautiful beaches of Alagoas, the most beautiful in Brazil. In Rio Grande do Norte there is Praia da Pipa and Praia do Madeiro, they are beautiful places. In Minas Gerais you will like the cities of Tiradentes and Ouro Preto, there is a tour guide who will explain the history of Brazil. Here are some tips for when you want to visit Brazil again.

Brazil is amazing, but the dangerous part is really true. Be careful! On top of that, Brazil is great for tourists since the locals are kind and cheerful!

The dangerous part depends a lot, what happens is cell phone theft, if the person is too distracted in uninviting places it can be stolen. Just as it can be stolen on the Paris Metro or in central London by pickpockets. Any huge city has to take precautions

I'm from São Paulo and I've never been to MASP, just for smoking weed under it 🤣(perdão rapazia mas vamos ser sinceros), and actually it's just a few brazillians that listen to Bossa Nova, only time I went on Praça do Sol it was 2am 🤣🤣bro I'm not a drinking guy myself but I never refuse caipirinha, thats a really nice Spanish Samba in the end and I mean it

Beautful couple Juan & Rhylan. You are always welcome to come back to Brazil. Next time, do not forget to land in Confins Airport - Belo Horizonte. After visiting Serra do Curral go to train station to by tickets for the next day. Rest a lot before taking the train to Cariacica - Espirito Santo State at 7:00 hs . A beautiful travel will last 12 hours. You will arrive at night in Cariacica, lose to Vitoria - Espirito Santo. Spend some days in Vitoria and tell us more about this trip. Many brazilians don't kown about. Have a nice travel God bless you.

So I would recommend ask for less cachaça or less strong"mais fraca" for the lady. Or ask for CaipVodka, one tipe of Caipirinha made with Vodka and less strong. All the best!

até que enfim alguém colocou a VERDADEIRA MUSICA BRASILEIRA NOS VIDEO DO BRASIL......OBRIGADO PELO RESPEITO. Pois na maioria dos videos do Brasil erroneamente colocam musicas Latina tipo Regaton NADA CONTRA mas não é Brasil.

The film Rio is pure stereotype, apart from the fact that Rio de Janeiro does not represent Brazil, it only represents the state itself since each state is very different from each other in several aspects, it is like a film about Mexico with people with big hats on their heads playing guitar in band, desert, etc.

I would recommend you visit "Serra da Cantareira", truly the best place to enjoy nature in São Paulo. Trails of light, medium and hard difficulty. Beautiful view of all of São Paulo, in the upper part, from the rocks! t's not very far, a good part of the way can be done by subway, and then by Uber. Be careful not to waste your calorie expenditure on the walk to the Italian restaurants at the bottom of "Serra da Canteira"! The region also has beautiful mansions, where some Brazilian celebrities or simply very rich people live!
