Does anyone else see the irony of the Golden Reel being won on a pole?!?

Why do you use such small landing nets when there’s a chance of double figure carp? Would it make sense to have two landing nets, a pan net for most of the fish you expect and then a specimen net just in case of a lump? Some of those fish that Jamie caught took a lot of wobbling into the net and could have popped the hook at the last moment whilst being cajoled into the smaller net. Interested in your views when it would be no hassle to have a specimen net to hand and a massive cheque at stake.
