It's also because the lingua franca of Manila (where the show is taped) is Taglish, a mixture of English and Tagalog. Not to mention there are a lot of Tagalog words that would sound very weird if used in any case (as they sound too formal and too archaic-like), so English words are used in their place.

Joseph’s first head to head question, his first sudden death question and Lao’s first sudden death question were easy questions for me. - I know Hitler as the only German political and military leader and knew well he was the author of “Mein Kampf” - I knew all along that Valentine’s Day is February 14 - I know about drachma being the Greek currency because I am Greek myself
