The Choice is given to Duryodhana and Arjuna by Krishna
Plot:
Balarama has commanded that Krishna may give whatever Duryodhana asks for to support him in the war. Arjuna gets to know this and rushes towards Krishna. He finds Duryodhana sitting behind Krishna's head, so he decides to sit at Krishna's feet where Krishna will notice him first and ask his plea first. Krishna wakes up!
Krishna Gyan Translation:
Krishna: Parth(Arjuna) has come with a plea, and you have brought a plan. In Parth's heart, there is submission, and in your mind, there is politics. Parth has a desire for donation, and you require support. When there is an opportunity to donate, then first of all that should be gained. There is no work which is needed to be done before donation.
Duryodhana: This is Discrimination (Preference-based), Vasudev!
Krishna: No brother, but the one who leaves the world and chooses me, I certainly give preference to him. But Dau, (Balarama) has given orders that's why I cannot discriminate today. Before asking anything, listen to my decision.
In this war, I and my army will not fight together. My army will stand against me in the battlefield. Dwarka's Narayani Sena* is the world's ultimate army. This one Akshauhini** army's every soldier fights like a warrior, can operate all the weapons of the world. To defeat this army is nearly impossible. In this world, the most powerful weapon like my Sudarshana Chakra is only like the Mahadev's Trident and Indra's Vajra, with the attack of that, not only human but the Deity is also feared. My strength of knowledge, power of character, and my soul's energy combines is this weapon. When I use Sudarshana Chakra then at that moment, destruction will take place. Truth-False, Justice-Injustice, Strong and Weak everyone will be destroyed. In this situation, if the war happens or doesn't its one thing, brother Duryodhana. That's why I have decided that in this war, I will not use any weapon. At one place there is my one undefeated Akshauhini army and at another place myself, alone, weaponless. Now the choice is yours, tell Parth, what do you ask? Choose Parth!
Arjuna: My choice is clear, Madhav since you shouldn't be accused of discrimination, that's why you can give the right to choose first to Duryodhana.
Krishna: Accusation? In childhood, my Yoshadha Maiya used to call me Black. What fear of accusation can a black have? And its clearly visible that, at what direction is brother Duryodhana's Choice toward. Some human's choice's base is dependent upon the possibility of benefit. And the base of some human decisions is their behaviour. And brother Duryodhana, correctly knows where its benefit is towards. You know right, brother Duryodhana?
Duryodhana: I know, that's why I choose…
Krishna: …No First choice will be made by Parth. This is your right Parth. Giving up rights is not known to be courageous.
Arjuna: Rights? Rights are only based on the property. Love, Knowledge and Truth these themselves gain right on a human. And you are all the three, Love, Knowledge and Truth, you are Dharma. I connect choose you, can only ask you, Madhav. Not because of Greed for Victory or Fear to Lose, only for Dharma, I ask you, Madhav.
Duryodhana: Army less, a weaponless person you have asked for Arjuna? Is this generosity or foolishness?
Arjuna: When a sugar cane juice is collected in a vessel. Then the importance is of the juice, not of the sugar cane, Prince Duryodhana.
Duryodhana: You are telling right, Arjuna. Vasudev I will have to satisfy only with your one Akshauhini army.
Krishna: Now we shall see that, in this war, Who gets What.
**An akshauhini is described in the Mahabharata as a battle formation consisting of 21,870 chariots; 21,870 elephants; 65,610 horses and 109,350 infantry as per the Mahabharata. Thus one akshauhini consisted of 218,700 warriors. The ratio is 1 chariot: 1 elephant: 3 cavalry: 5 infantry soldiers.
**Narayani Sena or Yadav Sena (Sanskrit: नारायणी सेना / यादव सेना), the army of Lord Krishna of Dwarka Kingdom is called as the supreme Sena of all time. They were the basic threat to the rival kingdoms. Fearing Narayani Sena, many Kings didn't try fighting against Dwaraka.
