Except the whole game plan us both backs inverted. If we go 3 at back then we could play Lo Celso, Sarr and Bissouma in midfield at the same time

@@FlynnlyI think you are right in that, being so attacking as a team centre backs are some of the most important players, so they need to be well attuned to the system, with Van De Ven and Romero already familiar with it, it's hard to justify Dragusin starting while still not quite up to speed tactically

Like Mancini managed for many Italy games , swing Porro up on the wing, 3 at back with Romaro in middle Dragusin RCB and Micky LCB to give good distribution and help Biss and midfield from dropping back to the D when workng out from the back ? Adapting the 4-3-3, as good a time to look at variations and get a start on summer ? LIke Vicario on corners ,Emerson is going to get targeted, like Davis, if starts at LB especially?

May be start Sarr or Lo Celso pver Madders as a surprise. Sarr/Hojbjerg/Bentancur and Deki/Son/Richie will provide high energy press against Chelsea.

Actually, no. Kulu is the only player in our squad who can hold the ball up and he's pretty good at it too. Richie is far less effective at hold-up plays than even Son. All he does is fall.

Only Tottenham, and it doesnt matter who is in charge, would put a liability RB at LB when VDV could easily play there and have Dragusin alongside Romero. Absolute suicide.

I would go with more experienced players against Chelsea. I would pick Deki, Hojbjerg, Bentancur to start again. Son at LW, Richie at ST. Royal at LB.

It's nice to listen to your shows and I enjoy them but the reality is that it's all pure speculation 😅 The bottom line is that we don't turn up for a lot of games. Fulham away was awful, Newcastle away was embarrassing (again) and the NLD first half was gut wrenching to watch. All these scoreline predictions (Richarlison to score - really??) mean nothing when we don't turn up. Defeat tonight and at Anfield. Very poor end to what had looked like a promising season.

Sadly we could lose 3 in a row!! It’s possible, coz our forwards are off form!! Too often we’re going sideways instead of being brave enough to take on our opponents or thread a killer ball through. We’ve gone back into our shell rather than be brave enough to make mistakes like in our first 10 games. Hope he starts Gio & drops Madders, start Brenan as well over Kulu. You never know….undeserved 1-2 Spurs!! COYS
