I modified a Swatch Night Flight to accept normal wristband spring bars. Then I made a Velcro strap per NASA's SEB12100030, the same spec used on the Apollo Moon Astronauts.
The extra long Velcro wrist bands allowed the Astronauts to wear their Moonwatches on the outside of their space suits for Extra Vehicular Activity. Here I demonstrate a method to wear the extra long velcro straps as a single band. It's a semi-NATO style configuration.
