Panchakacham can wear any body. While going to temple it is a best dress code devoties also. There bhramin or non bhramin no difference. Only mind set. If like this Andra people thouggt they never wear. In Telugu tradition it is best costume

@@anantharamanvaratharajulun8027 very rightly said; it is only a mindset. And also availability of facilities for washing etc, as someone has commented elsewhere in the comments section. If you have a tradition and want to follow it, with a mind set to do it, go ahead. There is no compulsion. After all these disciplines were set then when the circumstances were conducive. Ultimately all the rituals, as I understand, are meant to constantly purify one's mind.Arguably, purification of mind can be done by other means also.

White long clothes, dirty city, temples, mandapams, water problem issues, cannot wash, don't have water since so many years, infact paying for drinking one glass of water . Divinity has nothing to do with fashion accessories If that is the case buddha, digambara, palani aandi are all lies or what?There are Enlightened in other costumes too in other places of the world and in followers of other religions or practices RumiSocrates too is wise enoughConfuscious Maybe you own shop or your close friends own That's why creating market . simplicity is my goal in life. Nobody compels u to wear panchakaccham...it is our belief and it is what shastra says....if u don't like u bloody shut ur eyes and run away....don't leave ur rubbish replies and pollute the ppls mind....

Point is One forcing oneself or conditioning oneself for Wearing certain types of clothing Are not necessary for Divinity, For seeking For self realisation . Hari OM .

By the way I knew wearing this even when I was a boy And used to help many to wear this I found , When they try themselves.. many are unable to bend , inspite of age For others, the jarigai scratches their skin For some one side leg longer.. For some it is too transparent revealing skin and hairs, underwear under the cloth For some, the jarigai cause soreness kind of itchy feel in the last backbone . So... All skills are simple, when we master it, so as to avoid above .
