I noticed that on Dick’s Sporting Goods, they listed them as the “LeBron 21 Textile”, so that’s very interesting to see! Edit: it looks like DSG put that label on the wrong shoe, but still very interesting!

There is going to be a mark that you will need to do the things like to buy food or to sell things but I want to tell you that do not do it. Haven’t watched in about 4 years since I did my ACL, had to stop playing, and started avoiding the stuff that reminded me about it. I miss watching your stuff though dude! I love that Chris pointed out the refresh aspect of this colourway because, with brands popping out releases almost daily, I had forgotten nike basketball used to do this right about the end of the regular nba season going into the playoffs. I looked at the new colourways and all I could think was they're just new colourways.

Best thing about the “refresh” models is we get that heavy discount on the original model; I liked the LeBron 21 before but LOVED grabbing a pair recently for $80.😉 QotD: I have to say role player, just because it’s how I always see myself. I’m part of a collective with shared goals and reaching the absolute peak of those goals is rewarding in a different way. And yeah, not knowing who KCP is was wild to hear from Chris.😂

I just returned a pair of the LeBron 21 "Tahitian's" super cool looking shoes. Beware the steal eyelets at the top of the shoe gave me bad blisters on the inside of my ankles. Please try them on first to make sure. My friend also bought a pair and had the same complaint. He said it took about 5 runs to break in. I'm to old for that. Recommend the Curry 24 Splash Jam or the Puma Scoot Pro Nitro. Super comfy. You can just put these on and ball with no break in required. Those are my type of shoes !

This is probably the first colorway of the 21s that I’d consider getting. I love how simple it looks. I always thought I’d want to win a bunch of rings a role player but Chris talking about the endorsements and other post career moves has changed my thoughts on this. Not a QOTD but I’ve wondering, how do you remove an insole that’s glued in if you don’t have a hairdryer?

They switched it up and added even cheaper uppers. But they made it "Lightweight" 🤣 I still bought a pair, because I needed hoop shoes. I dig the colorway. Reminds me of a mix of an Air Max 97 silver bullet, and an Air Max plus.

Interesting refresh. I was gonna say that layer of plastic doesn’t make it breathable…but then remembered the original had a second layer on top, so never mind. Heat welding those cables does beg the question, were they actually functional in the first place since that stiffer upper from the plastic coat is essentially providing the support. 🤷🏽‍♂️ As for the question of the day, I agree….from a business and money making standpoint, I’d rather be the star if not superstar player, simply because of everything Chris stated. The leverage and marketing opportunities Weill be abundant and you can parlay that to more because you’ll attain more access….look at what Steph is doing with his production company and his TV shoes he’s produced. The rings are great….look at Robert Horry…he’s got 7 rings, but he’s not making those same moves. I stand corrected….if I’m wrong. 🤷🏽‍♂️😁

@@JBillionzz They look great in person. The upper does scuff easily if someone steps on you etc. but it doesn't impact performance and the material actually requires a shorter break in time than other Bron 21s

I’m a fan of the LBJ 21 incredible comfort and the oceanic theme. I think these look good but not enough to run out and get them…would rather be the great player they never won the big game. You still have a legacy people will respect

These look solid, but I agree, the ones with the leather upper covers were a better shoe if priced the same. But seeing them at discount is always nice. I’d rather be a role player with multiple rings. Those guys could also rank in the cash and they tend to be great coaches or work in the NBA in other roles. I’m thinking along the lines of Steve Kerr

Felt like I should comment because I've been a big supporter of yours throughout the many years you've been on youtube but I can't believe it has already been 11 years since the 10, which was the first Lebron that I got and ever since then I've really only liked the 10s, 20s and now these. The Lebron's I had were actually the Floridians and I remember when I first saw those leak, I remember there was a white colorway as well that didn't release. Let me know if you remember that!

I think this refresh came from people whining about how the upper looks bad after a few wears and after getting a pair I can see it. The thing is with the 21s. Unfortunately I had issues with the insoles, making it very tight with a dragon pearl color away and never had that problem with Lebron but I may give it a chance.

The new look lebron 21s aren't terrible but imo they should have given us a discount because the removed stuff from the shoe. Definently deserve a discount considering the 21s are sitting and getting discounted to 50%.

Good job. U pronounced Kenavious Coldwell Pope name perfectly. He was a role player on Lakers during COVID n won championship and is now on Denver and won championship last year as well.Hes a lot better then Luke Longley. Rings are nice, but Chuck and Reggie seems to be doing nice for themselves. There's many folks that win rings that don't get into the Hall of Fame. Which could lead into a followup question: would you rather be a Hall of Famer with no rings, or a great player with a ring that's not in the Hall of Fame? Think Chris Webber vs. Chauncey Billups? (as of 4/2/24 - Chauncey is a finalist for the HOF, but not in just yet)
