Actually, I was out driving during an ice storm when I was 18 in Canada. I got home around 2am and parked in the driveway (nowhere near lake or ocean). In the morning, I had 2 inches of ice on my car. Neighbours were taking photos. Because my car was warm and during the worst of the storm and no one else was out driving, it was only my car. No damage was done. I just left it where it was in the sun. Took a long time but the ice did melt.

RunningFromABear oh ok! Judging how you describe the situation, it wasnt as thick as the video! But it did freeze and you had to wait for your car to defrost! I live down south in Texas! We rarely have any snow!

@@sjcflawless It's not a big issue unless you insist on trying to move the car 'right now'. If I remember right, it was frozen solid that morning. It was still bad that night but some of the ice had melted, next morning it was almost defrosted but the door frames were frozen solid and the locks. By lunch time with help from a deicing spray for door locks I was able to go. Gas is a little more expensive up here because the gas stations include additives to keep the fuel from freezing. The worst ice I've experienced was in northern Quebec visiting my husband's family, -47 celcius not including windchill. I got into the truck and the dry padded seats had frozen solid. It felt like sitting on blocks of ice. The joys of visiting French Canadian In-Laws from the backwoods.

There's no Safety measures taken in Major Streets and or Highway's. By now I thought the Countries that are Suffering from heavy Snow falls understood how to build and or manufacture Snow Trucks Vacuum, Vacuuming the Streets while the Snow is falling in the Ground and or Collecting and melting the Snow while Vacuuming. I dislike how condescending the presenters were towards this unnamed person. They did a responsible thing by not driving home after a night out, and they were mocked for where they parked their car? I might have done the same thing in their situation - I wouldn't think that ice that thick would encase my car because of where it was parked. Some understanding would go a long way.
