Weather Play Society is a society for people who want to have fun, explore and play in bad weather. It takes the form of a play kit that encourages young people to become intrepid explorers, creative inventors, and imaginative game-makers while learning a little about the weather and art along the way.
Weather Play Society is an art project by artists Michelle Browne and Rhona Byrne. It was commissioned by Ríonach Ní Néill for Hope it Rains | Soineann nó Doineann’s WeatherPlay project, which harnesses the wind and rain to make outdoor play fun in all weathers, and encourages children and young people to be active and creative outdoors on any day of the year.
