Considering the fact that this was the first song I heard from Weathers, it's definitely a welcomed addition to my Spotify playlist.

Same song, but such a different vibe. I can imagine the original and the cinematic version as two different perspectives on life, but both of them coming to the conclusion, "C'est la vie." This version kind of made my chest hurt, but in the good way.

The Original - You're lost, and you're angry because of it- You've lost so much, and nothing seems to want to come back. You are enraged, but that's just life, isn't it? Constant, unwarranted, and oblivious suffering. Cinematic Mix - You're still lost, but you've accepted that now. There's no way to learn it all, but to presume the world only suffering, only cruel, is idiotic, naive, and simplistic. There is beauty in this world, and there will always be the bad- But that only makes the beauty _better,_ doesn't it? These songs are _perfect_ for the contrast of a character I've been writing, from their hardships to their resolutions. _Absolutely_ *glorious.*

I have absolutely fucking loved the original song. Last year when I was stuck driving angry or sad or frustrated or hungover to nowhere, I constantly switched back to it. It's haunting, but comforting. I'm in a different place now, since I heard the original a year ago, listening to this now. Listening to this again, this is hopeful and melancholy now. This makes me feel I can be better than I was. Thank you.

I can definitely hear this in a trailer somewhere, or a montage when the main characters are apart before uniting to deal with the main conflict of the story

Love the difference in these 2 mixes. First one feels like the villains manic descent into ruling the city. This ones plays when they have to turn around and be the hero no one wants and they’re not confident they can do it but they have to try. Ooh megamind vibes hell ya

The og has a brutal hardness to it that feels like the expression is anger but this version feels like the hopeless puppy type where an average kid is singing his heart out like no one’s listening because he knows no one will care anyway. It’s a bit nihilistic. It’s relatable. I felt this song more and more as it progressed.
