The first time I heard this I was in my dads car, it came on the radio and we started listening to it. The TAKE MY PILLS AND IM HAPPY ALL THE TIME part came on and we started laughing so hard. it was so depressing and hilarious at the same time. Drugs because anti depressiva is just a placebo effect. It's just gonna destroy your brain and there are so many for testing. And it needs 1 month to show effects but that's placebo. you only have sideeffects. I think they mean ecstasy, because ecstasy is the only POPULAR drug to make you happy because it increases serotonin while other drugs dopamin but dopamin doesn't make you happy, just euphoric. ecstasy needs only 1 hour and it's 100% real. why don't they give to patients? because it is highly addictive and (effective)= drugs. and in this video it seems like ecstasy

I actually highly recommend them cuz the alternative(at least for me) is wanting to kms every second of every day. The whole point of antidepressants is that we feel like human beings again. Depending on the type of drug and the person, the side effects might even be nonexistent.

I used to go to this song when I had to pretend that everything was ok, and when i had to hide my depression and feel guilty about my self-harm and the fact that I was on medication for anxiety and depression. But listening to it now, I get a weird calm feeling, that it's ok to be sad and as long as I'm still here I am doing good. Idk, but I love this song.🖤🖤

It’s an interesting phenomenon, I’ve come to realize. I used to favor sad music quite a bit, and this is that in a way. But I’ve never been one to listen to “winter-y” or seasonal songs in that season. It’s interesting how I am listening to upbeat (in terms of tune) songs that are published in summer and spring actually _in_ the summer. Never really used to do that. Never really knew. You can kinda tell the season vibes of a song, but not always.

guys, they aren't trying to say that taking pills is woohoo super nice. on the contrary, this song is super ironic. he says he's happy all the time, but throughout the whole song he says his life is vain, he doesn't really like his girlfriend, he's apathetic, "he takes strange things to feel normal", meaning he doesn't feel like he is normal, he's a freak. he either says he's happy all the time because he desperately wants to be and is trying to convincd himself so, or he's just pretending to other people who expect that of him.
