I absolutely can't thank you enough for this!!! I just started knitting a month or two ago and now I'm taking on the huge endeavor of making a giant super thick blanket and this tutorial was super helpful! I've watched a few other ones but the technique you use makes the most sense to me so thank you so much!

I have watched 5 other tutorials on how to do this. Yours is by far the best! You make it clear as crystal, instead of clear as mud! Thank You!

I've been knitting on and off for many years, but had never learned how to weave in loose ends. (Now I can't remember what I did do with them!) Your tutorial is so helpful - you show very clearly how to do it, and that it's easily done so that it's not time-comsuming and not a 'chore'. Thank you for the great feature!

Glad to help. I’m always learning new things myself. In fact I took a class from a certified Master knitter. She weaves in her tails like this. But at the very last one she just splits the last stitch when coming out of it and then clips it. Ive started doing that now, too. Happy knitting!

Thank you 🙏. This is so helpful and the best instruction online. I’m a rookie knitter and now realise unfortunately that I didn’t leave enough yarn to weave in. I was thinking it would be best to conserve the yarn. I’ll do my best and know better next time

I get the weaving in tail part bit if it was to get washed, would they come undone? I just finished a baby blanket for a friend and I don't want the ends coming out.

I'm not sure whether this will be read but I truly wonder if this holds up when you wash the item? I'm starting on a baby blanket (as a gift) and I would really hate to see the whole thing come apart when the parents wash the blanket...

I love your blog! I am learning how to make socks on a sock loom. Any tips would be great. I would love to learn how to make shawls on a round loom with bulky yarn or a worsted yarn on a KB fine gauge round loom which I have just purchased. Your tips on weaving in ends as you go are great as occasionally I find incomplete stitches on projects and feel I have to rip out a project before I can fix the stitch.

Maryanne Butler hi there!! I saw your request and I made a full LONG tutorial on loom knitting socks. It includes information to help change up your yarn and loom to get the right size no matter your pattern or working on your own pattern. I hope this helps! Happy Looming. www.goodknitkisses.com/loom-knit-socks-that-fit/

You probably won't see this, but I need some help. I've just begun knitting and I've mastered casting on, knit stitch and purl stitch, but I'm still working with tails, sorry for being such a novice, but after you clipped off the test of the tail, how does it not come undone? I keep thinking of when I was sewing and you'd have to tie a knot in the end to stop it unravelling and I just am curious as to how you dont need to do anything like that. Again, sorry for being such a novice and sounding stupid. I just really like knowing exactly how things work.

Alexa Campbell no worries! It’s nice to meet you. I’m always learning new things myself. In fact I took a class from a certified Master knitter. She weaves in her tails like this. But at the very last one she just splits the last stitch when coming out of it and then clips it. Ive started doing that now, too. So locking in the stitches and zigzagging around the other stitches really is doing most of the work to locking it in instead of a knot in sewing. Happy knitting!

How do you stitch together a sweater and then end if sewing
@GoodKnitKisses5 жыл бұрын
Lynette Booysen knit sweaters are made in different ways. Some are made seamless such as a yoke or in raglan construction. Others are made in pieces and sewn together with the same yarn used in the project. You don’t use a sewing machine generally for knit sweaters when hand or loom knitting.
@lindamiller59723 жыл бұрын
@@GoodKnitKisses Do mean by this that your Master knitter splits the last stitch of yarn? Like putting the needle through the yarn? I read somewhere else that you can kind of stitch through the middle of the yarn to help it hold. Also, I’m using a blend of bamboo and tencel, and it’s pretty slippery. Will that also hold? I’m also a beginner ;-)

Hi Mary from New Zealand. I am knitting a baby blanket which has 10 garter stitches before the pattern. I joined the new ball of wool just before the pattern. How do I weave in the two ends as I have only one way to proceed. Enjoy your videos very much. Regards from New Zealand.

I would like to see a video that actually shows how to weave in an end rather than demonstrating with a separate piece of yarn somewhere in the middle of a project
