I hate that women have to body shame others. Just because a man/woman have pubic hair down there or wherever doesn't mean the smell or have an odor. I personally shave; but I have friends that don't and this notion that hair is gross/ dirty on woman is wrong. Men don't shave, and yet women seem to give head just find/interact with them just fine. Hygiene is what is important, not hair no hair.

Let me tell you, since puberty I was shaving that hair off as soon as I saw the tiniest strand. I thought hair was nasty and dirty. Then I got married. A lot of females don’t know this, but when you go from no sex at all to having non stop sex, especially while shaving constantly and wearing non cotton underwear, you just might get a uti. The first one was weird, didn’t even know what was happening. The third one had me crying on the bathroom floor. Tenth had me doing my research. Notice that I would get a uti usually on the days I would shave then have sex. After about 2 years and 20 utis, I shave once a month, fragrance free soap, free balling or boxers, no sugar, too much water, no roughness without lube. And now, fingers crossed, I’m going on 8 months without a uti.

Public hair is only deemed gross because of American societal standards. Never be ashamed of your body or make someone feel ashamed. Pubic hair helps protect your vagina from bacteria and is a cushion during sex. Not everything about our bodies needs to be altered for aesthetic appeal.
