This is such a interesting game, it is basically a rigging simulator but with a cute dancing laser shooting spider. I love when jobs that people train and get paid for get turned into games especially when disguised as something you wouldn't think of. I would love to see a speed run of this.

Hehehe, glad the Kumuko squad are already here :D (For the confused - there is a light novel/manga series, recently turned into an anime, called So I'm A Spider So What. The main character dies and is respawned... As a spider in a gigantic, dangerous labyrinth.)

Jon, spiders are not insects, they are arachnids, a different class. Insects and arachnids belong to the phylum Arthropoda. It's a coalition of land-dwelling Arthropods!

@@ManyATrueNerd I have terrible arachnophobia but this didn't really trigger it at all. Same thing with lucas the spider. These guys don't really move like spiders they kinda waddle in a friendly way so it's fine.

"I can swim. In a tiny tiny spider bubble! That's adorable!" And accurate. There are fish eating spiders which capture an oxygen bubble around themselves so they can dive to hunt. It comes to something when you can make a bird about spiders that an arachnophobe like me isn't horrified by. Good job team. Happy, slightly French-esque accordion music. 18/10!

This is the ultimate paradox. It's Dan Hardcastle's perfect game because well-implemented web swinging. But also the worst thing for him, because spiders

oh jon, your puzzle solving skills are as painfully oblivious as always! stuff like ignoring the lift instead of attaching the mandibles to the bottom of it and raising it

I like that you can solve these things any way you fancy (even by making it more difficult for yourself... ahem). And you just know it's one of those games where if you saw the dev play it, they'd be finishing each problem in under twenty seconds and using just two threads at most.

The sheer comedic timing of that jump cut (7:50) of the ant hanging from the ceiling was really funny. I think I'm going to have to get this game. Those physics-based puzzles seem very fun.

For the mandible puzzle; i'm pretty sure you're meant to attach them to the underside of that vertical lift which would bring the mandibles up with it.
