my two most popular projects are actually "stupid" ideas I had that I wanted realized for myself: One was a pokemon damage calcultor (before mine people used spreadsheets or a really basic python script) that apparently entirely changed the workflow for how speedruns can be planned now (I basically added a big textarea at the bottom that you could push calcs to and then download your "collection" as a text file or simply copy it to the clipboard). The other project is for the game Fate/Grand Order where I put timestamps (converted from the times in PDT/PST in the game's news blog) for event starting and closing dates and the ui shows those as times converted to the user's timezone with a countdown. I've also started making other tools for the same game like an experience calculator.
