I’m really gonna buy you a new tape measure 😂. That pit looks great. Can’t wait for the video of the first cook.

I like the old stuff…. Especially when it’s duct taped and rusty!

This was helpful when assembling my new XL 600 - thanks. Did you happen to buy the cover? I did and it seems too short. The bottom shelf isn't protected from the outside elements at all.

Mike, thanks for checking in. Yes! And I have an accessories video about to drop talking about the covers “shortcomings”.

I hope this thing holders up! I’ve got money set aside for a Searwood 600.

Fingers crossed Joey…. Fingers crossed. 🤞

I was waiting for this when I found a Smokefire EX4 on fb for $300 almost new. Had to reset the controller and reinstall firmware and that thing has been great. Based on first look I don’t think it will be night and day better if it is better.

Thanks for checking in!! That’s a deal on an EX4! I hope it serves you well. They pump out the smoke. I’m already objectively looking at possible areas this might excel and fall short of the SmokeFire. Keep your notifications up, more to come! Enjoy your cooks!

Scotty, thanks for checking out the video. I wish I had the luck you have with yours. I do like the asthetic appeal of the ELX6 over the SearWood.

Finally got mine and did the burn in last night. Wow it's loud. Way louder than my Grilla grill.

Michael, I’m in shock. I cannot even hear mine from 10 feet away. In fact, I’ve occasionally walked up to it to make sure it was still crankin! I’d monitor it and he in touch with Weber if you think there’s an issue. Thanks for checking in!!

@@sambosplace I definitely will. I remembered you saying how quiet it was and I was not ready for it. Hopefully it quiets down!
I can't understand why so many patriotic Americans keep buying all the Chinese crap when you have lots of American made alternatives. Beats me!

Lars, thanks for checking in…. Can you verify which companies utilize and source every single piece of hardware as produced by machining or casting/ forging businesses in the USA? And at what price point? Regardless…. You’re forgetting that by purchasing this, you are supporting the American worker takes the order, who packages the product, loads product, ships the product, the logistics worker who tracks, receives, allocates and ships the product to the customer. They have to eat too…. Thanks for checking in!!

Lone star grillz 100 percent American Made , Pitts and Spitts 100 percent American Made… but the Weber is a nice pellet smoker

William, thanks for checking in. Yessir, that is their claim. Having been involved in my wife’s manufacturing/ machining business that has produced very small to very large parts for NASA, our military, Moog, Ingersoll-Rand, GE and Space X, and the amount of quotes they’ve lost to outside sources for small hardware….like washers and bolts is astonishing. I’m hard pressed to accept, not believe, that every nut, bolt, washer and fastener is sourced within the states. Kudos to them if they are that resourceful. Having said that…. At what price point? The Yoder and others you mentioned carried a 22-2400 price tags for the size pit I wanted. The jury is still out on Weber Pellet quality. So stay tuned… If you’ve checked out any of my previous videos, my SmokeFire was a JunkFire.
