Optimizing the design of a product is a critical step to ensure a successful assembly on your production line. What is an efficient and effective way to validate your product design? Perform a tolerance analysis!
In this technical webinar, our experts will present the steps to successfully carry out tolerance analyses and the criteria for defining an acceptable range of variation based on assembly behavior. For webinar participants who may be less familiar with these analyses, this webinar will be a good introduction. For webinar attendees who are more experienced, we will also introduce more advanced methods and the benefits they provide.

Love this. I'm a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Aerospace industry. This Webinar gives a good understanding of things to consider when designing parts.

Nice job putting this together! I worked as a senior level design engineer at a rather large multinational company, overseeing a number of professionals and a rotation of young engineers every year. One thing I would recommend, especially to younger designers, is to spend some time and effort trying to gain a grasp of process capabilities. You can find general process capability indexes and such online, but the best source will always be your quality control department. If they employ a CMM then you have a good source of data to develop your own internal capability analysis. Knowing what your capabilities are, you can design around some of the problems you're going to face and for those you can't, you know exactly which components you may have to source from those who can produce them to more exacting standards.
