Interesting engine. There is a slight chance belts can be found here: www.gates.com/us/en/power-transmission/thermoplastic-polyurethane-belting/polyurethane-synchronous-belts/c/128 but not sure.

Unique engine and great to see Bella again , still for flying , I will stick with OS or Saito , very reliable ! Keep the good work !

I saw Bella walking by out of the corner of my eye while doing this run. I wondered if the camera framing would catch her in the video. It did! See how calm she is around my running engines? When it come to 2 strokes she usually runs but the four strokes don't seem to bother her in the least. No worries on sticking to OS or Saito. IF you could even find one of these you would be lucky. They are getting quite rare now.

I cannot say for sure, but maybe the carbs for the 60 and 80 were the same. I cannot find a review of this exact engine so I do not know what to expect as far as peak RPM on this prop. But the engine runs very well.

Perfect for a first time run, how long the timing Belt lasts? Or exists any timing belt recomended replacement schedule?

I have no idea what the expected lifespan of a timing belt is. There is nothing specified in any manuals for these engines on a time period for replacement. No engine manufacturer states a replacement schedule for parts that I am aware of.

Maybe on these engines and because there is no conventional valve train the timing belt has less stress and asuming those belts were made with top quality materials that doesnt degrades fast.

My concern would be, getting a replacement when the belt does break. We assume it’s a top quality belt and if it lasts 20 years, could you get a replacement then. I would get a spare now while they are available.

No, sorry I just assumed they were available. Are these older engines? I have some Webra diesels but no idea if it’s the same company

Older engine? Hell yes. This was produced back in 1984. They have not been made in over 30 years. There are not many glow engine manufacturers still making engine, let alone new and unique designs like this. This is pretty much a collectors piece and I picked it up for $75.

@@dmrcflyr2 MECOA holds the rights to the Webra name and any remaining parts supplies. So far not a lot listed on the website, but who knows what they have either not gone thru yet or enroute.
