on my one website I write a blog and use normal language and someone said they would not use me for their website because I don't know about grammar. My answer was that I don't do copy, that's what editors are there for, I build the website and populate with his copy. Some people are just to fickle.

You can't please everyone, that's for sure! I don't necessarily believe in "proper grammar" on my websites.. I much prefer casual and conversational, like you're just speaking to a friend. But you'll always find those grammar police who hate that approach. I usually don't take on those projects!

My website loads in 5.5 seconds but seems fast to me. Shocking that people would bail so fast if not 3 seconds or faster. I’ll have my webmaster take a look. Thanks for the tip!

Sure thing! And keep in mind, it might take that long to load completely, but as long as the content at the top loads quickly, it won't FEEL slow to your visitors. The big problem is when it seems like the site isn't loading at all for several seconds.
