This code snippet enables the duplication of WordPress posts, pages, and all registered custom post types (CPTs). It adds a 'Duplicate' link to the row actions for each item in the admin dashboard. When clicked, this link triggers the duplication of the selected item, creating a new draft with the same content, custom fields, and taxonomies.

Thanks for this! I usually added a plugin for this which I always thought unnecessary. Only issue I found with this code is that pop ups are not duplicated as pop ups but as pages, which means extra work for me. Cheers!

Very timely. I just added my first code snippet. Trying to use a snippet to display a remote image link inside an html widget inside a loop grid based on a custom post. And Kablam! went the site. Thank goodness for backups lol.

The thing I like about snippets, is the ability to turn them off when you don't need them.

Odd, since $post_id is obtained from absint(), which ensures it's an absolute integer, it cannot contain any harmful scripts because it's guaranteed to be a number.
